I'm currently using a dual parallel coil. .83 ohm with 30 gauge kanthal on a 1/16 ID. It's good, but needs work. Might try the twisted next

So everyone seems to prefer a single with the afc cap? What ohm coil do you find best?

What works for me is 0.8Ω single coil 28 gauge kanthal on the Cyclones with AFC. I'm all about the flavor and with this setup I get a nice warm full flavored vape on any juice.

Currently running a single 24g microcoil. 7 wraps around a 5/64th at .49ohms and it provides a dense and flavorful vape. I'll add that I don't have the AFC and my air hole was drilled to 3/32nd.

With the regular cap hole increased to 1/16 I'm doing triple twisted (2) 32 gauge (1)28 gauge 10 wraps for .8-.9 and with afc cap I do (2) 28 gauge 6-7 wraps for a total .5-.6 ohm dual coil and use rayon wicks.

That's funny. I have been using twisted and have been using parallels lately. Been rocking a single parallel 28ga on a 5/32" drill bit. 10 wraps .76ohms and really like it (but liked the twisted also). I mount them side saddle on the Cyclone with AFC and like a little larger diameter coil with rayon.

Might try knocking down the ohms another point. I like a warmer vape... Maybe I just haven't gotten there on the afc yet

I will try it. Have not done the sub ohm upgrade yet so trying to stay above .6.
