well what you do is, you drill your airhole a little too large, and then, instead of spending the effort to convert it to manually adjustable like you did, you instead fire up your tig welder and rush through trying to tack the hole back closed to redrill it, that's how ya do that :glare:

I could fix it, but not even worth it when the whole atty is like what, fifteen bucks or so.

I'm very sure that my igo-s is stainless center pin, not sure why though, I picked it up from a b&m, if it was brass I would have replaced it with stainless anyway but was glad to see it actually was stainless. is this not normal for the igo-s? maybe mine was old stock? new stock? no idea, until now I just assumed they were all the way mine is

Well, my IGO-W CP definately is not SS. I got most of the way through it like butta with a hand drill before it got stuck and the center pin popped out the bottom and then I said "@$^"K it!

Anyway, I love the IGO-S....not much for the W.

How to you feel about drilling through SS, ol' bee?

Your IGO-S post is SS? I feel like someone who needs to go to Hardwick's and buy 4-5 drill bits. I need to anyway, after that Nimbus debaucle. Hey! maybe I'll say I dropped your post, and lost it, and then I'll have a replacement for mine!

Send it along, Homes, and the W; I'll drill 'em by gum! Doesn't the W post just press back in? (My first IGO-s drilling had a poppy-outie post too, but I just powered through and then shoved it back in there.)

BTW; Tree, the Nimbus is working out quite nicely. I'm liking it quite a bit. Seems, for me, it's got everything to do with rate of airflow. (how bad I suck) I figured out that, with the 2 x 1.2mm airholes, a little variation in air speed makes a tremendous difference. (nothing new, just more pronounced) So, I find that I can pull on it regular-to-fast and get a very mellow vape, or I can draw lightly and gently and get a throat puncher . . . .. all on the same build . .. . go figure! Thanks again, eternally grateful!

ADDIT: I'm just drilling out the posts now . . .. first build with the Mundy comin' up.

OH, and here's this, I just finished post drilling, and grabbed up my old IGO-L; guess what. The cap for the L fits perfectly on the Nimbus (not that I need it to, just interesting). One could do air hole variations with different caps that are lying around . . .. (kinda like T-cad's . . . w/ the 1/2" air hole). Also, now I'm thinking I'll drill out and steal the IGO-L post for the Nimber (the L is taller than the S's post) and put the S back together, cause I actually like the S and not the L.

Yeah, the W post presses back in but I don't like this pig anyway. I've coiled it 9 ways from Sunday and still don't like it. I'm spoiled with the RM2, the Cyclone and the S.

I think one of my local buds has a drill press. If he can't do it, I'll bug you for it.:D

Glad the Nimnutz is gettin' some love.

I liked my igo L until I got my rm2, that's when I fully realized how much a smaller chamber adds to vape quality, haven't enjoyed the L since. maybe with duals or quad coils :)

Yep, small chambers is where I'm happy. Getting great VTF and getting it quick and punchy. Das a what I like.:D

Yeah, the L is like donkey crap after vaping the RM2. In all honesty, I didn't think the Nimbus would do much for me because of the L. Why one works great and the other not? IDK. Well, there is the dual thing (like you mentioned, t). Maybe chamber size is "per coil". I think, what I'm gonna do is build a quick dual in the IGO-L, borrow the Nimbus cap, and if that does anything for me, I'll mod the L into a proper dual setup (air holes and drill it out for BF)

The L...wait....the W....uh...S...N wah!!! Oh, I can just picture the wheels turning behind those antennae;)

1/2" air hole...hehehe! Tilt that baby to the side and you could just straight up shotgun it.

Ya'll checked ya'll email lately?

yeah, I do believe it is per coil. the cyclone vaped like the L until I did duals, then it vaped like an rm2 on steroids :D I believe chamber size is a major factor, which is why the kayfuns and the like are so highly regarded as an awesome flavor atty. chamber size and other airflow characteristics all affect the flavor, the right coil placement in a tiny chambered atty is so sweet, a large chamber just can't match it
