So does the old afc caps fit the 2014 bf model ?

It's a very very very very tight fit and a real pain! I will try removing one of the O Rings and see if that helps... but changing wicks and coils is a tough exercise and I have to lie down after wrestling to get the Cyclops off the new base!

I noticed on their fb page they had some comments about it not fitting. Would like to know as well.

Just tried mine and the AFC fits the new 2014 base perfectly, with both o-rings
Don't know why people are having problems with some
Maybe Philippino tolerances
The AFC ID that fits over the o-rings is the same size as the standard Cyclone cap

So...I haven't even ordered my REO yet, but from aesthetics alone, I knew I'd want a Cyclone for it. And for airflow, started hunting an AFC, too.

I got an "old" Cyclone from ebay (new, but old style w/concave deck). Haven't built it yet, but already lost a damned screw. sonofa......
And I found a UK preorder for the "coming any day now" new AFC. I had a bonus coming from work, so I pulled the trigger, and have a black AFC and a Fusion tip coming. Fortunately, thinking ahead, I threw a couple extra screws in the order.

Now, I just hope that
a) the stuff shows up soon
b) the new 2014 AFC will fit properly on my 2013 base
c) I manage to build it OK - I SUCK at coil & wick, but have been forced by REOville to give one a try

So here ya go - if you're willing to pay for it:
AFC in stock
Preorder, expected any minute, for AFC in brass, copper and black, plus Fusion tips

You're welcome
:D

I purchased them from eBay. Here are the items I ordered and that should fix up just about anything I have.

Stainless Metric Socket Set Screw 25 2 5mm x 45x5mm | eBay

Stainless Metric Socket Set Screw 25 2mm x 4x4mm | eBay

Stainless Metric Socket Set Screw 25 2mm x 4x5mm | eBay

Stainless Metric Socket Set Screw 25 2 5mm x 45x4mm | eBay

2.5 x .45 x 4 or 5 for the RM4

either length will work fine. The 4mm is almost flush with top of post. I am using the 5mm right now.

the 2 x 4 x 4 or 5 works with cyclones, rm2 etc...

25 of 'em for $4, better than $3 each from a vape vendor
:)
