Cyclone on sale at MOV

Thanks for your advices, I will look into them.
I ordered a Cyclone on Friday, unfortunately w/o Fusion DT, that wasn't available at the shop.
My first thought was to look for an alternative source, but after this discussion, I'll use my existing stuff.
Since I have an Omega DT, I'll start of with that.

The ohman shorty looks good too, is there an internet site for additional info ?

Ohman is an ecf vendor just like chowder. You can click on the thread I posted above or u can find him in the vendor subforum.
That is the tip that comes on an atomic (rm4) I really like that tip as well. Unfortunately no all metal tips for me the next 5 months as winter has arrived. It's below zero today[emoji300]Heres a new tip I picked up last night at my local vape shop. I stopped by to get some more juice and saw this new one and had to get it. The ole genie tip wasn't cutting it, I needed that wide bore.

I run a simple black muffler style DT on mine. I have the BF version from MOV and was looking everywhere for the AFC cap, I ended up getting a whole new one with the AFC and to my dismay after many different setups on it. I run it with one coil and all closed up. So IMO the AFC cap isn't worth getting
Good grief! It's 70 here in the woods today. Is it really sub zero?
We actually hit our high for the day at 4 deg with -15 degree wind chills. We were -10 last night with -35 wind chills. Up here that's just winter time. We start whining when it gets -20 with -50 wind chill[emoji16] living up here is not for the faint of heart.
I'm a lung hitter that likes tasting flavor from my juices. The small hole on the original cap isn't gonna work for me, but since I got such a good discount on the cyclone from MOV on Black Friday I ordered it and the cyclops AFC cap. MOV sells both the BF 2014 cyclone and 2014 AFC cap. I found out that myvaporstore.com sells the fusion DT and its still currently in stock. I haven't ordered one, I'm just gonna wait until the cyclone arrives and I vape on it for a while then I'll end up getting one.

That weather sounds like the weather I faced when I lived in Alaska. That was hard getting used to, summer was awesome but I couldn't get used to seeing the sun out for that long. And on the flip winter was imo too long and cold, but I'm a night owl and liked it when the sun came up late and went down early. Loved to see the northern lights when they were out too. Alaska is by far the most beautiful place I've ever lived and visited.

I hear what your saying, A while back there was such a hype over the AFC cap I thought it was going to be great. When I actually got one I was disappointed

I have a few of the Cloud chaser tips that I modded to a much shorter more slender looking tip. They were good for a while but have been replaced by a wide bore shorty that Avid Vape sells. Its only 10mm high....very short, but just right for my style of vaping.
Funny, I start whining when it gets below 70°. The old bones just can not take the cold like they did forty or fifty years ago.
NIce looking tips - love the wide bore and simple lines. I'm going to have to pick up a couple of these.

I have 2 of these DT's. Big bore DT's are my thing. One came with a grab bag of misc parts I bought, and I use it on a RM3. The other was on my Atomic, but i don't like the Atomic that much so don't use it.
Oh yeah, looks like I'll be receiving vape mail tomorrow. Cyclone and AFC cap are both due to arrive.

agreed... i dont use mine either.. i grabbed a stinger tip for it instead much better IMHO
Well I received the cyclone today in the mail and I guess my other package with the AFC cap got delayed and will be in tomorrow. For now, I decided to build a basic micro coil for it and give it a shot.
As a lung hitter, primary atty is a RM5....I'm trying to remember how to MTL. So far, flavor is very good, vapor lacks as I'm use to my big dual coil setup in the rm5. I'm already thinking about drilling the hole out a little larger but I'm not gonna do it just cause I know the AFC cap I ordered is coming it tomorrow.
I had to go back to the basics for coil making as I haven't made a coil like this one in quite some time. I made a 1.3 ohm coil, used a piece of 28 ga kanthal wrapped around a 1/16 bit with 10 wraps. The cap still gets a little hot and heat was transferring to the SS tip I had, so I had to dig out my original cheap black delrin tip.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this setup, but I can't wait to get the AFC cap because I'm sure I'll like it even more. Here's a few pics.
