So I got a Cyclone the other day and just got around to setting it up and put it on my Mini. On the post with two holes, does it matter which one I use? I thought I read somewhere that the bottom one is for juice to flow through, but the top hole seems to make my coil too high.

Also does anyone run these on their Woodvils? I wanted to run this on my 490 Woodvil but it doesn't seem to screw in far enough to fire. Any suggestions?

Yes, the bottom hole is for juice. The top one is for your coil.

You can try to very carefully tap the center (positive) post down. I use a bench vise open just far enough open to let the 510 connection through. The post will move down. The pin in the bottom is threaded into the plastic insulator. Once the post is seated better you might have to adjust the pin to make connection using a small flathead screwdriver.

You can try turning the contact post on the bottom of the cyclone counterclockwise but they are real tight. I have only had luck by freezing it then putting atty in a vice with rubber jaws then I used a bit form my gun smithing set. The other option it to take the feed tube off the 490 and push up on the post. I did this earlier today to my 490 when I was cleaning in order to get the coil/airhole positioned where I wanted it. With use I screwed an atty down to hard and got things out of whack.

I have a DIVO on a wood and it works fine.

It is also possible to run juice thru the bottom hole that holds the coil leg, since juice under pressure (squonk) finds a way thru. I have a dirt cheap clone atty like an octopus that works perfectly well like this.
