D2Pac,LDO 5 volt,3amp regulator with control pin. From Mad Vapes (the one with 5 pins).

Hello fellow ECFer's, and modders

Could some one tell me what pins are what? Want to try my hand with a 5 volt mod. Using two 18650s. Normal push switch, on/off. I do not plan on using any leds, I don't like them. I'm not looking for fancy just five volts. I ask about this regulator because I already have it. I should have bought the four pin reg. There are schematics for that all over the place, but I'm not able to find one on how to wire the five pin reg. Also when I look at this reg, I'm looking at it with the heat sink down.

here you go , looks like you connect one and 2 pins together since it doesnt look like your going to use the switch function. 3rd pin is your ground , 4 pin is not used , 5th pin is output voltage.

Just some advice, throw another switch in there, an on/off slide switch. The momentary button you have will fail eventually. Additionally, without another switch, accidental button pushes could destroy your atty, or worse, start a fire.

And use the control pin. Using it, the switch you use to vape will only have a few milliamps of current flowing through it. If you don't use it, you will need a better switch, and the extra current will stress the contacts more, leading to shorter switch life.
