I love Alfred Hitchcock type stuff. It's the blood and guts that I hate. They use gross to scare you and gross is just gross!!

Hitchcock did it with style - still scarry. And the earlier - Robin Hood with Flynn - the last sword fight - the death of Sir Guy was done all in shadows on the wall - Directors now would go 'What!! Lose a scene like THAT???!!

I read Dark Rivers first - should have stopped there Also never finished Mr. Murder. Koontz is a bit of a libertarian too.

Missed Mr. Murder too. I like his Brother Odd series.

There is a couple that I didn't get through but mostly I like his stuff.

There was one that I could have walked away from.....very boring......can't remember the name of it.
