Ah, the Golden Rule. If you were wondering where the Scripture is for the Golden Rule, it is Luke 6:31. We all learned this: 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' Are you listening? I know I am. We all need reminders of God's (Bless His Holy Name) rules. This is a rule that when given, you receive it back.....maybe not immediately, but you will receive it back. Why don't we all, and know that I include myself, take the challenge and practice this every single day, until this verse becomes a normal way of life. God's Word doesn't return void....and besides, this is a promise you can stand on! Praise God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Not Carnality but Christ
1) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3) For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4) When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5) Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6) Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7) in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

That is pretty plain and straight forward. Many times we need more than one verse to understand the fullness of the meaning. Case in point, verse 6 and 7. "There but for the Grace of God go I."

Bill, thank you once again for your faithfulness to this area of the board. What would we do without you! Posting God's, Bless His Holy Name, message everyday. 78 Weeks of Scripture posting can, I would think, be challenging for anyone. Thank you for your faithfulness to God first, then to us second. You have a wonderful ministry! God chose you for this thankless job, but know that we on the board appreciate the wonderful job you continue to do.
