It does kinda boggle the mind.

The bottles that my e-juice comes in doesn’t crack. The bottles my DIY flavors come in doesn’t crack. The syringes that people use to mod or fill doesn’t crack. But the manufacture keeps pumping out tens of thousands of cartos that do.

Makes you wonder if they have an entire warehouse full of plastic tubes that they want to get rid of? That or their just not too bright.

Or both.

Many parts of the world don't play by the same rules. You use what the govt allows you to use, or they shoot you and put someone in your place that will.

OK, maybe I'm being a little over dramatic here, but it's not always as simple in some parts of the world as switching materials or suppliers. They have contracts, allegiances, partners, etc. They seriously have to think twice about leaving one out of the picture.

I got them on a trade, no idea of their originination. they are clear, xl, I see only two strands of wick. The box says edition 2, so I am assuming they are older.

The perfectly Clear ones had many problems with cracks. Many of them came from the Factory with hairline cracks on the battery connector end.

The reason? The material they used had very little "give" to it. So when they where pressed onto the battery connector, they cracked. As they were used, these hairline cracks widened until you had a leaky carto on your hands.

You ask why do they crack? Two reasons: 1) Stress cracks; & 2) It's a chemical in some e-liquids. I know my Cinnamon cracks um every time. I pretty much decided to put my Clearo coils in left over part of cut down C-E2 tubes and use them in my SS/Pyrex Torpedo Tanks, (XL & Mini). A couple reasons I decided this, 1) 1.8mL not nuff to last me a workday; & 2) the liquid angle of attack is much improved using larger diameter tubes, the wicking is greatly improved. & 3) Cinnamon won't attack Pyrex tube. I had to find some way to successfully use the damned Clearos, I got a gross of um. JMHO

Ahhh, well I just got 10 of them! Thank goodness not a gross! I have used stainless xl dcc's exclusively, love them, but hate easing that much juice when they start to go. I hoped this would be the answer but I'm not all that impressed with the vape. These are 2.5 ohm, my dcc's are 1.5. Do you think that's why? I would hate to think that it's the stuffing that I like!!

You can cut a syringe to length with a box knife and use that on your clearo's, it will never crack again.

A very different kind of vaping experience. The dual coils produce more vapor with less 'heat' in each coil, but you do have to keep them good and wet. A 1.5 Ohm dualie actually has two 3 ohm coils in it. Think of it like running two 40 watt light bulbs instead of one 80 watt one.

The CE2 engine is better for people who like a short light burn/draw straight to the lungs, where the dual coils are better suited to folks who like to take longer slower drags with lots of nose/throat/mouth stuff involved.

Throat hit is usually weaker in a CE2 as well...a moister more mellow kind of vape but to me a very pure 'flavor'.

Even if you got lower resistance CE2, or went to a higher voltage PV to make it run 'hotter', it's not going to work like those dual coils.

I love both...really depends on the liquid I'm loading them with, and my mood.

Dual coils, and other poly filled cartos tend to make me thirsty all the time and irriate my throat and sinius with the stronger liquids...so I have a soft spot in my heart for the CE2. I kept buying them despite all their QC issues.

Newer versions are much much better now. I really like the new clones that are hitting the market even better. I.E. the Gotvapes Vision Deux.
