Those aspire BDC's have really tiny little openings for the juice to get in. If you're vaping a thick liquid then you're really going to have to fight to get it primed. Let it sit for a while then cover one of the air holes and dry pull on it several times.

There is one juice I like that I have to dry pull a couple of times with one air hole covered before every vape, even after it's primed. I've pretty much stopped using the Aspire on thick juices.

Confusing me and what not! Ok so my question is how long should I wait before I start vaping once I have replaced a coil? I have an Aspire BDC. I keep burning them. I have tried taking several drags first without pushing the button and that didn't work. Help!

If the wicks are silica, you can't burn them. If you are getting dry hit, just wait and try again. No need to throw away the atomizer head.
If you really need to accelerate the wicking of juice, you can always add a few drops of juice directly into the coil area. if you happen to flood the coil chamber by doing this, just blow it out from 510 connection side. (don't do this with tank attached)

If you are using a bottom coil, let it soak for 15 minutes, take a few pulls/primer puffs, then start at a low votage or wattage & work your way up so you don't burn it... you'll want to adjust your voltage based on your coil's resistance too. Also, I just learned that if you turn the clear rubber cap on the top of the coil upside-down, it prevents the "burnt tasting" hits I'd get every once in awhile, because it's not sitting on or touching the wicks.
