Let me start off by saying that what happened to me last night and this morning had absolutely nothing to do with Imeo's craftsmanship or any serious pitfalls in the design of the GGTS, UFS, or Odysseus, and if it wasn't for the fuse upgrade, my injuries could have been MUCH more severe.
So, what happened is that last night I passed out in bed without having any intention of going to sleep, and I happened to have my 6v dual 18650 GGTS with my Odysseus in UFS in bed with me with the button unlocked. This morning, I awoke to my dad shaking me and asking me if I was ok. He was freaking out because he smelled charred blanke, skin, and plastic, which belonged to me and my GG......Because I'd only gotten 30 minutes of sleep the night before, I was in too deep of a sleep to wake up when I felt my skin burning up. After I got out of bed and cleaned the burn a little, I checked out the GG. I'll post pics later tonight when I get home from school, but what basically happened is that the UFS' clear window was totally warped and melted, several o-rings were melted, it was EXTREMELY hot, and LUCKILY, the fuse was blown. I'm obviously grateful that the fuse blew, but it's pretty impressive that my ody coil managed to get as hot as it did before it finally gave out. So I'm pretty torn between wishing I still used china atties, because then I wouldn't have a gnarly blister on my arm, and being immensely satisfied and impressed with my Ody because of its impeccable build quality. Pics below, they're prettyyyy gnarly
