Hey all. Been vaping since 5/31/10 and loving it but ran accross a newbie question. I've noticed the darker my liquid - like the coffee or chocolate coffee mix flavors, seem to have to be 'blown out' of my atomizer much more often. I don't notice the juices being any 'thicker' than others I'm usuing and all are either 90pg/10vg or 80pg/10vg. Only found one reference to it online and it was just an 'opinion'.

Anyone else have any input or experience or thoughts? Not sure if it's just me imagining it or its just being able to 'see' darker juice on a paper towel being blown out better than clearer one /shrug.

Thanks,

Vapor seems to be the same. I have a Sidesho - love it for it's consistant vapor, draw and flavor and that it basically almost sucks a cart dry before having to refill it.

I blow out my attys after each fill, trying to keep them from clogging. The draw seems to stay the same, but I blow out the atty more with the darker liquids it seems to stop that 'gurgling' sound - not just when refilling (not overfilling) but even half way through a cart. My RY4, Strawberry/Watermelon and Pina Colda don't seem to need to have to do that.

Yes I'll agree with this. Even the most watery dark liquids that I own tend to get BLACK in my atomizers after I use them for a while. For example- I have a Little Chuck that has a little "well" right where the atty connects to catch any leaked juice. I tend to over-drip on occasion and when using TV's Tastyfinger (pretty damn dark liquid) it will leak out a light brown but after 3-4 days of constant use, the leaked liquid will be black and barely seethrough at all.

I've only used two "dark" e-liquids all the while that I've been vaping. "Dark" meaning about the shade of a glass of Pepsi. That would be an Espresso from BWB that was fine and TV's Root Beer Float which *did* 'clog' the atty. This was using a standard Joye 510. I like the flavor of TV's root beer so I plan on trying it on an LR atty and with the Joye 302 pen style. We'll see...

I think we're going to get InnoVapor's ULTRApure E Liquid when the time comes. They don't have a cigar juice, but I have heard good things about their juice, also that it's clear, so that's good too. Are the coffee and chocolate flavored e juices darker? I am just curious since I doubt my hubby will vape any of those, not right away at least. I have heard that their FUll Flavored 36 mg e juice is like a Marlboro red, and tastes the most like a real cigarette, so we're definitely going to try it.

I personally have never had a coffee or choc flavor that WASN'T dark - and SOME of them seem harder on atties, but not all of them. My TV german choc cake is very dark (almost black) but it doesnt APPEAR to hurt my atties any more than the lighter ones; in fact the worst one for me is the Halo Freedom, it seems to clog a lot and its clear.
Inexact science is inexact lol.

The darkest liquid I have is TV's Tasty Finger, and that doesn't seem to create any problems. Well, if it does shorten atty life, I like Tasty Finger too much to worry about it.
