I guess it depends on how well the dinner conversion is going, or you could impress her with your knowledge of attys & juice flavors to the fellas at the bar... whatever you do don't go outside to Vape & leave her alone at the Bar.. maybe bring a walky talky so you can stay in touch with her while your outside... speaking of stay's in touch...

I'll be taking my beautiful wife to her 50th birthday party celebration at an upscale restaurant the day after Valentine's Day (half-price roses are good, mkay). I will vape at the table, but discretely. A puff..hold it in...exhale through nose.

I would call ahead and ask. Then the minimum wage hostess will be like "What's vaping?" (in her valley girl voice. Because that's how it goes in my head). If you carry some high nic juice just excuse yourself to the restroom once or twice and vape really hard. But what do I know. I'm not one for fancy food.
When you arrive, just take a moment to speak with the shift manager. He's the one that will have to handle any vaping complaints.
Was wondering just what kind of juice he was planning on having his date vape...lol...is there a Spanish Fly juice?

But yes, heed the above advice. My wife doesn't vape or smoke. When we go out to dinner, a bar or club she doesn't like to be left alone while I go out to vape. No woman likes to be left sitting at a table alone and at the bars the vultures swoop in as soon as I walk away. No one wants to swat away a drunk hitting on your woman. Now on valentines day this all goes into the tenth power. Multiple "You look fantastic tonight" are always a must. Not just on VD. Nothing makes a woman smile faster than a complement and nothing gets you laid faster than making a woman smile.

Just stealth vape and have a good time. I'm finding that 99% of unwanted attention can be remedied by holding that hit in for 8-10 seconds and eliminating the vapor. We could all benefit from learning to effectively stealth.
I use a Blu 100 when I got out. So it's stealthy anyway.

Asked if it helped me stop smoking. I usually vape fruitier stuff when out. Tobacco flavors probably create more confusion.
