Hi all -

I came across a discussion about e-cigs last week and decided this may be the right thing to finally to get me to quit analogs. I ordered a K808D-1 starter kit, with some extra cartomizers and juice. The kit came today, and I got the two batteries charged up immediately. It seems, however, that one of the batteries pulls nice and smooth, while on the other one it is extremely difficult to draw a puff. The flavor and the "smoke" are definitely there, it just feels like I have to suck really hard. I switched the cartomizer to the other battery and it was nice and smooth, which is why I believe it is a battery issue. Is this common and fixable, or do I need to contact litecigusa?

I have read a lot of posts about batteries and other parts arriving DOA, or just not working right. Personally, I have never received a part that simply didn't work right. My first E-cig was a gamucci that lasted about 48 hours, but it still worked for the 48 hours. ;)
Did you get any type of warranty? Most warranties are only for DOA items, and since yours seems to work (though not well) I don't know if any warranties cover that. My advice? Buy more batteries :) I own 11 batteries for my two kits. 510 and an eGo.
Electronics are hit and miss. Thats why its always good to have extras.
Perhaps the battery didn't charge all the way?

I have had hard-drawing 808 batteries before, and sometimes they get harder with age. I have never fully figured out why they do this, but mine have been replaced by the vendor when it happens.

I suspect the hard draw with age being because the air holes are getting clogged with dried juice. I take a toothpick and wiggle it around in the battery's airholes and it cleans em out decently.

I contacted the supplier, and after much back and forth they are sending me a replacement, at which point I'll send back the defective one.:p

Day 2, no analogs!

This is one thing I love about litecig...other than great prices and free shipping. They really have great service.

Shawn is a great guy, it's very cool that he sent you the replacement first. !!

Many vendors would expect you to send in the faulty equipment first, then they send you the replacement.

Yeah...I actually feel kinda bad about that. I gave them a hard time before they agreed to send me out the new one before I sent back the faulty one.
