I dropped my Nicotine level from 18 to 12. No real problems. I'm wondering if anyone else suspects that, While Nicotine is the primary addictive agent in analogs, There are other additives that are also addicting? Just curious. I've tried Virgin Vapors "Hot Buttered Rum" I can vape this instead of having dessert. It's Very tasty. I'm noticing that I have begun to cross the point where tobacco flavors are not interesting anymore. I still enjoy them with a cup of coffee in the morning or evening, but It's not a "gotta have" all day. From conversations I have had with other smokers who switched to vaping, this is a common story that happens to nearly everyone. Some sooner than others. I'm Planning on picking up an Aspire Nautilus tank soon. I can't help but Smile for miles that I'm off the Analogs. I have to give great thanks to Bob Alexander for his videos on Youtube. They're informative and really fun.
Oh, Yeah, Another juice I found, from a company called "The Vaper's Knoll" is called Rodeo Blue. It's supposed to be like Marlboro Skyline, I think. to me it tastes more like Benson and Hedges. (I haven't given Tobacco flavors up ENTIRELY) Just my quick review on a juice I've come across.

It didn't take long for me to step down from 24mg to 18mg then to 15mg nic. Currently I'm at 8mg and the next order I have coming is 7mg.

Yeah, I firmly believe that there are other things in cigs that make them harder to give up. I haven't had nearly as hard time lowering my nic with vaping. Congrats on your progress :D

Congrats for the progress.

Nicotine is good for a lot of stuff, esp. some medical conditions. And probably not at all problematic in and of itself anyway, so there's no rush to lower

Since I don't have any of those conditions, I figured "less is more" :D and went steadily downward in my nic whenever I could. I really didn't notice much difference to be honest, going downward.........except going back "up" I get very lightheaded and nauseous now so I could never do 18 or 12 again now.

I'm now at 3mg, and probably gonna so more 0 nic soon. I just enjoy vaping during certain times of the day.

I went with 36 for the disposable ecigs then 28 for my first refillable then almost instantly all the way down to 3 chasing a less harsh inhail. Now I enjoy vaping so much I've been cig free for over 5 months and am comfortable at 3 per ml. I enjoy a bit of nicotine in my vape because it does help produce a solid cloud when vaping.

Good for you Halloween1. I went from 18 mg nic to zero in about nine months and stayed there for months. Currently vape 2 mg nic about half the time, 3 mg is too much now. I don't find it addictive to vape nicotine and agree the other stuff in cigs is what makes cigarettes so addictive.

Yes, absolutely!

I used to find it really hard to go any period of time without a cigarette, but now I can manage much longer without a vape.

I had little difficulty reducing from 18 to 12, but am finding the jump from 12 to 6 a bit harder. I've decided from here to reduce in smaller increments, and my newest batch is 10mg, though I'm still using up some 12s. WHatever works for you though.

Well of course the extra components in commercially produced cigarettes add to the addictiveness. There is science to back this up! It's the ammonia that's the kicker. When combusted, the energy and heat from combustion acts as a catalyst for a chemical reaction between the nicotine and and the ammonia. This reaction breaks off a hydrogen ion. Simply put, the nicotine you get from commercially mass produced cigarettes is a free base form of the drug and has a different impact on the body and brain than the more natural acidic form of nicotine. The free base form is stronger, faster acting, and more addictive. Cigarette companies use ammonia to make their cheap, low quality tobacco product stronger and more addictive.

I kind of thought so. around day 10 through 14, I had some serious, building, withdraw symptoms even though I was vaping at the usual nicotine levels of what I used to smoke. On day 15 it was like what you see in horror films when the demon inside the possessed house or whatever utters one gigantic shriek and is gone. Now i have dropped from 18 to 12 with no noticeable difference.
Thanks to all for the kind words and thanks to Forkeh for the interesting Article.

Same thing happened to me. In 3 weeks went from an 18-12-6. Currently on 6 Been cig free for a bit over a month Of course when you start using buildables and dropping your ohm impedance you have to step the nic down to tolerate the vape hit. I run all aspire nautilus during the day at work. Waiting on a provari to deal the work mod. Using the Hannah v3 at home Your mod and tank will make a huge difference in your experience. Don't rush off the nic Set your pace so you don't backslide to the dark side and vape strong.
