Hi everyone, I recently signed up after reading the forums for some time. I now have a 510 on the way :)

I have been taking Chantix for the past month, and thankfully without any side effects. I have been successful at quitting analog cigarettes and overcoming the nicotine addiction (the pill blocks nicotine from being absorbed, making smoking cigarettes pointless)--that was the easy part, the hard part continues to be the habit and I just simply miss smoking a lot, plus I still have weak moments such as stress, driving, and some others which trigger cigarette thoughts even though I don't need it for the nicotine. Which is why I opted for an e-cig, I prefer to suck on vapor at those moments than succumb to an analog and ruin my quit, which probably would happen according to statistics and simple probability.

But since I am no longer addicted to nicotine I am looking for a 0 nic juice that has a good throat hit--from what I have read it appears that the nicotine is what gives the good hit. I would hate to have to vape nicotine juice when I am no longer addicted to it--but I want the experience to be decent, not just like breathing in air and vapor coming out of my mouth.

I read in some post that a particular rum flavored juice was very good at the throat hit for 0 nic. But I do not remember the vendor.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Two suggestions:

1. Nic strength does provide throat hit it seems. But the other part that provides throat hit is warmer vapor. Those who had to use high nic strength liquid to get throat hit have reported that once they switch to a 5 or 6 volt PV (personal vaporizer) they could significantly reduce the nic strength and still get good throat hit. There are not very many of these premiere PV's. The two that consistently get high marks are the Prodigy and the GG. Another advantage is the batteries last 5-7 hours on a charge and only cost $2 to replace. Here are the web sites:

Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
GG: SmokeJuice - HOME

2. I have not tried this, but several 0 nic vapers have stated if you mix your own liquid and use 100 proof vodka in the mix it helps with throat hit.

You may want to give Janty a shot.

I am at this moment vaping their RY4 zero just for you.
OK I ordered it by mistake a while ago and put it to one side.
Your post did prompt me to give it a go.

It has definately got something going on.....
Very good vapour
Quite airy but I can feel it on the inhail.
No real flavour to speak of - slight nip with a sweet edge but not sickly.
I think I could vape this for an hour or maybe two without climbing the walls.
Its a lot better than the last zero liquid I tried.

I am using a SD so RN4075 atty and 3.6v battery , this may give it the extra kick ?.
