OK, almost 3 days since my G6 arrived and I can say that so far I am very satisfied with it. I had my last analog as I was unwrapping the G6 and haven't had an analog since. The most amazing thing to me is that in the last 2 mornings when I got up I thought I would have an unbelievable craving for analogs but no, just vaping a bit on the G6 gave me what I wanted and I have not even come close to breaking down and running out to buy analogs. I thought I'd be vaping constantly to avoid analogs but that hasn't been the case. In fact, I think I vape much less than I smoked analogs. I've also used less carts than I thought I would, haven't really totally emptied one yet, probably because I keep trying different juices and haven't run a battery completely down either. I vape for several hours with the same battery and cart then swap them out so it seems to me that 2 batteries at a time in use should be enough to last me all day and 2 carts more than enough per day, though I was a 2 pack a day analog smoker.
I tried Tribecca, Kringle's Kurse, Turkish and Malibu, with Sub-Zero and Belgian Cocoa yet to go. I really like Tribecca, don't care much for the Turkish, which seems bitter to me. The Malibu I find refreshing and somewhat similar to the analogs I smoked (Camel Crush, which have a small ball in the filter that you crush if you want to turn it into a mentol). Kringle's Kurse was a surprise they threw into the package and I love the peppermint tang. I am beginning to wonder if I might like the non-tobacco flavors better, which would surprise me.
I definitely plan to get some mini tanks but I want to sample all the flavors first and it seems to me the best way to do that is with blank carts so I don't have to be constantly washing out tanks when changing flavors.
I also realize that I need some sort of system to keep track of which carts have what in them, how many times they've been used, etc. So far I have the sample bottled lined up on an end table with the carts in front of them, which doesn't seem like a very good system and am wondering what people do to keep track of that sort of thing.
I plan to use each cart 5 times then wash them out (should I boil them for 5 minutes as some suggest?), then use them 5 more times and then toss them out. Does that sound reasonable or should I be using them less or more times to keep getting good flavor and vapor?
