I'm am currently vaping Menthol Ice & Kringle's Curse in my Triton tanks as my all day flavors and Malibu & Voodoo in my G6 with mini tanks for a change of flavor, I like the Malibu better and it is growing on me daily but the Voodoo is still a mystery to me, undecided at the moment. I am still smoking a few analogs per day which are starting to taste real bad to me, I put the last one out this morning before I even finished it. So yea! I won't be on analogs much longer.

My question is do you wait until your Triton battery is dead before you charge them. When I got both the Triton & G6 batteries I fully charged them first. I haven't had one die yet which is very surprising but I know it will be soon. I just wondered if you wait until one dies or do you go ahead and recharge nightly?

This is what I do: I only have the two 650mah bats that came with the Triton, and I simply recharge one of them every morning, so one is always fully charged. I have never ran a battery down in one day and they only take about an hour or so to fully charge. These batteries still work like new after over four months of daily usage. {I will never need a bigger battery capacity, but some do!} :)

This first time stopping smoking I used 808 ....g batteries, which I still have and still work perfectly. I would need several batteries on hand because of them going dead. Whenever I left the house I would carry 6-8 batteries, several filled cartomizers and 2 to 4 5ml bottles of different juice flavors so I could refill as needed. I always felt like I was carrying a mini drug lab to work and at night I had outlets and usb ports charging batteries. Now with these mini tanks and especially the Triton that isn't an issue anymore. I had a Christmas party last night and all I carried was 1 Triton with my all day flavor juice in the tank and I carried 1 G6 with my Malibu in it incase I wanted something different. Tastebuds are funny and I didn't vape in front of anyone. I either went to the bathroom or out to my car. I love the new innovations they have know. Halo was a great company 2 years ago but they have really gotten better since then. They are steady, reliable. and make quality products. It is so important for a newbie to get a good product when they start on their journey. It can make the difference in someone sticking to quitting and giving up.

Short answer: Recharge them when they blink, or if you can detect it, just before it blinks.

Long answer: If you google recharging Li-Ion bats, you'll find so much conflicting information. So I asked my Big Brother.

My brother works for Duracell and is involved with testing and R&D. The gist of our long discussion follows:

Internal circuitry in Li-Ion batteries prevents you from draining it down too far. Bad things would happen, but moot, since we are protected. In R/C helicopters, if you usually fly 9 minutes before the cutoff, best practice is to stop at 8 or 8.5. Same with us. If you know it is going to die within the next dozen hits, recharge it.

The batteries can only be recharged a certain number of times. I won't go into the technical reasons. But, since there are only so many charging cycles, it is best to use them until empty, or close to empty, then charge them.

The analogy is this. Pretend you could only open the gas tank lid a certain number of times on your car. You'd then want to empty the tank as far as you dare before refilling it.
