Thanks.
I have been vapping for about a month just stopped the analogs New Years day. So I know with the empty taste (yucky). It's the metallic I am getting now that has me on edge.
Good thing though I don't wanna smoke I just want the taste to go away.
the metallic taste could be burnt catromizers/ clearos. keep them full, you'd be surprised how fast you will empty them when you first start

Make sure, sure, sure you are drinking lots of water. I think most of us have that weird taste thing shortly after switching to vaping, and I think a lot of the time it's related to dehydration. What got me over that hump was drinking lots and lots of water for a few days, and the taste thing went away pretty quickly. And yeah, day 3 sounds about right. Hang in there, it will get better!

If you made it past the first 48 you made it past the toughest part. I know I was vaping very heavy and I was dripping. If possible you might try a different flavor or two if the is a shop in your area. Drinks lot's of water...will help with the metallic taste. Hold it in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing to let it soak a bit.

This is normal. Swish, swish, swish with water as you drink it... vaping dries the taste buds. Change up juices that have totally different properties... ie: go from tart to sweet or vape plain pg/vg in between flavors. The point is to give your seriously worked out taste buds a rest by changing to using different sets of them. Nothing give the buds a workout like vaping does. Oh, and go easy on spicey or high flavor foods and drinks temporarily. The metallic taste or lack of correct taste is just your buds asking for a rest and their thirst quenched. I promise that when you get up tomorrow or next day your taste will be back. And, predict, that after a month this will be a very infrequent thing if at all.

Please tell it is just day 3 of no analogs that sucks. I'm vapping like normal but EVERY flavor I have is starting to have a metallic undertone to it. I even took out my tongue stud to make sure it was not that. :grr: :(

Sometimes when I vape too much it tastes like puke... rinse your mouth with some lime juice, it helps.

swish and hold the water (will have to be flavored water, regular gives me cotton mouth always has) no spicy food .... insert sad face here. Change juice often.
I have been thru 5 different flavors today trying to find one that taste good, and failed.

That's called "blowing your palate" and its pretty normal when you start as per my previous post. Aaaallll the buds are rebelling. As I said, I promise it will be better tomorrow after they've had an 8-hour rest while you sleep. You need rest to function... right? So do they. But they'll get used to the new workout routine and adjust.. then this will be a thing of the past.
