Am I the only one who thinks JC juice smells like some kind of petroleum product? Seriously, I opened my bottle of JC original and the cured and both smell like gas, or solvent, or something petroleum based.

I don't get that but I didn't care for the new formula...

I'm going to give it a few more tries and if it doesn't improve itself promptly, it's going back and will be the last order I place with JC.

I won't go that far... they may go back to the old formula. Have you ever had it? You can get it here and I'll while I can't say you'll like it, I can assure you it doesn't taste like the one you just tasted.

No, you're definitely not the only one.

I know another place that has Tennesee Cured besides electronic-cigz. First of all electronic-cigz.com - Premium E-Cigarettes, Cartridges and Supplies USA kicks .... Ultra over there has some of the best customer service out there. Sorry to say- I have the last bottle saved for me.

I know another place that has it too- Sorry it is in Only PG tho. Electronic Cigarettes, e-Cigarettes, e-Cigs, DSE 901, Vapor Guys LLC
Both of these companies are the best in the business. I personally have used VaporGuys for 3 seperate $100 dollar orders- super fast shipping. I haven't checked the site but as of yesterday they had about 10 bottles of Tennessee cured HIGH instock.

I still have abouta half bottle of TC left: i have 30ml + a 3ml coming from electronic cigz and I have a 15ml bottle coming from vaporguys. soooo, i'll have about 56ml of Tennessee HIGH sotcked up of the old formula- sorry to rub it in.

I HIGHLY recommend both companies- Ultra with electronic-cigz is one of the nicest guys on the forum + awesome customer service. Taleywacker with Vaporguys also is one of my favorite suppliers- he has amazing customer service also+ he will do anything to make his customers happy, not to mention super super fast shipping. I buy all of my Janty products from him (3 kissbox kits). 2 days from the day you place the order- never fails.

so anyways can't go wrong with either company- better jump on it quick- the stuff flys off the shelf

Vapor guys no longer have it and they have this listed at the top of the JC juice page.

This item has been discontinued due to safety concerns for children and animals regarding nicotine content.
WTF is that all about?

Seems to me they are trying to kiss a little FDA .... which doesn't sit well with me at all.

yeah its said that since the first time ive ordered from them- they only have 15ml JC liquid

BTW: its said that before all this FDA mess started- like i wrote above it said that on the 30ml JC page since the first time I ordered (early June).

oh yeah, if I had to put that on my page to be able to stay in business- I would to. I think your right- maybe they should "show the FDA"- smart

What exactly is flue cure . I mean i like it a lot but what is the flavor derived from? Could it be creasote from the inside of a chimney. Thus the petro smell. Just asking.

:) Actually Tennessee cured tobacco is more of a fire cured tobacco than a flue cured tobacco. Not that it couldn't be flue cured but Virginia is the best known flue cured tobacco while the Carolinas make more of it than Virginia, but in this case 'Virginia' refers to the type of tobacco.

The various curing methods:

Curing of tobacco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flue cured:

Flue-cured tobacco was originally strung onto tobacco sticks, which were hung from tier-poles in curing barns. These barn flues which run from externally fed fire boxes, heat-curing the tobacco without exposing it to smoke, slowly raising the temperature over the course of the curing. The process will generally take about a week. This method produces cigarette tobacco that is high in sugar and has medium to high levels of nicotine.

Fire cured:

Fire-cured tobacco is hung in large barns where fires of hardwoods are kept on continuous or intermittent low smoulder and takes between three days and ten weeks, depending on the process and the tobacco. . Fire curing produces a tobacco low in sugar and high in nicotine. Pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco, and snuff are fire cured.

Many have described the old style TC as a 'pipe tobacco' flavor. I agree. And that it was not sweet (low in sugar) so whomever did the original recipe at JC sounds like they knew what they were doing.

yeah, this JC stuff is gross.. I cleaned my filter and atomizer and tried it again.. it actually tasted worse after the cleaning than it did before it.

Both the JC Original and the cured have this disgusting petroleum smell.. and the taste is.. I don't even know how to describe it.. ever thrown up after having eaten mexican food and a glazed doughnut? either have I, but that's the only thing I can think of comparing it to.

It's going back.
