Day 3

well, just thought i'd drop a short update...today is day 3 of using the disposable e-cigs from a local convenience store...and hubby put his down and couldn't find it later (it slid between the couch cushions) and when he picked me up at work he was smoking a phillies cigar...he looked at me with a sad face and said "I lost my ecig and this isn't making me happy" I thought i was going to fall over...lol he's been so resistant until we got the disposables.

I've taken mine to work for 2 days and i still go out to the smoke deck with my fellow smoker friends and i thought i'd feel weird about it, but I don't...I found out that quite a few people @ my work place are or have switched to e-cigs. I thought that was pretty cool. I gave away the last of my analogs, and, hubby hasn't touched his since we got it, except for having lost his and smoking the cigar and 1/2 of an analog yesterday.

So...all in all, this is working out, looking forward to ordering full kits and some juice on my next paycheck. Hubby actually was more than happy to pick up another disposable to replace his lost one...which we found so now he has 2! lol.

Any way, I'm feeling good about this switch...I told my husband that the one thing I liked was kissing him again because he didn't taste like I was licking the ucky bottom of the ashtray...lol (Sorry for an overshare)

Congratzz to both of you. I was a pack and half a day smoker for 25 yrs. 3 days into my e-cig and I never looked back. In the end it doesn't matter how long it takes you to get off regular cigs. but that you are making the attempt. Way to go with sticking it out and not running right back to the pack when your hubby lost his. I know I would have had a really hard time with that lol.

Good job!!! ..... and I still go out with the smokers sometimes, too, for the social aspect of it. I do find myself wanting to sit upwind so I don't smell like smoke, though!
