I am so in love with vaping  I wish I had found out about this years ago. I have smoked for 20 years but never heavily, would quit and start with the end of each pregnancy (3 in 5 years lol). This is the first time it hasn't been awful! My husband and I got an evod starter kit at the beginning of the week and are both enjoying this way more than actually smoking analogs. Can't wait to upgrade and start our collection! I do feel the 12mg is a bit strong for me, has anyone just gone with the 6mg when they first quit?

Hi Mimii, Congrats on making the switch!

Personally it took me about 5 months to step down to 6mg, from 24.
But, I helped a friend make the switch a couple of weeks ago and he went straight to 6mg. He had quit cold turkey pretty well (for at least 1-5 mos) many times before, so perhaps he was more confident going straight for the lower levels than I was. If I lasted a whole month in previous attempts to give up cigs (cold turkey or patch), that was quite the accomplishment.

Me too! Welcome, Mimii! I started off with 8mg and it was too low. Went to 16mg and it was too high. Went to 12mg and tapered down to 8mg (all over about six weeks or so). I just tried a couple samples tonight that are 12mg and I started to get a little heartburn. So, it looks like 8 is my magic number.

I went from 15mg Nic to 9 in a 4 week span and then jumped to 0 nic on my menthol juice and i do 3 mg on my Mocha Java Smooth just for the throat hit whenever I try new juice I try to go for 3 mg Nic but most only sell 6mg so i usually buy a 6 mg then go home play with flavors and try to clone it or close to it so I can get my 3 mg Nic...DIY is so awesome

Yes, when I tried 18mg and 12mg they both made me very ill, so I tried the 6mg and it worked great, I could vape my face off and never feel ill. When I finally quit the cigarettes, I found that I actually do best in the daytime about 8 or 9 mg, and go down to 6mg at night to avoid the pounding heart at bedtime.

Welcome!!
