What mg nic are you using? It should be at minimum 18 mg. I know I smoked ultra lights for 30 years and started vaping at 16 mg nic and had withdrawals the first couple of days. I also think you should have a couple different nic levels so you can use a lower nic for when you just want to Vape a lot and not necessarily need the nic. I use lower nic at night because i vape nonstop. i think most of us Vape more than we smoked and 1 ml a day isn't much. It takes longer for the nic to get in our system from vaping as opposed to smoking. A 5 min. Smoke break is about equal to a 10 min. Vape break. A least that s how I see it and most of my friends. So don't worry about vaping too much, especially at first when getting off cigs. If you feel over nic'd by feeling slight nausea or headache, then back off and it will go away in a few mins. You will soon learn what amount of nic you need at different times of the day. Good luck and keep vaping! The first week is a big learning process :)

Thanks for that :) I'm on 18 mg or 1.8 and used to smoke roll ups about 20 a day... I am taking 3 draws of my ecig then another a bit after... I have a feeling I'm being to light on it but not sure how many drags id normal?? I know its a learning curve and maybe silly to ask how many drags is normal on an ecig but I really have no idea and I know everyone is different but surely 3 is to low??? Maybe explains why I feel like this??

I use a rok star tank at the moment and ego t ;-) looking at your reply again about 5 min smoke =10min vape shows me I'm well under using
I always thought nic. Od would take hours to go that's why I'm over careful!!!

Thanks again for your help :D

Shoot yea, 3 drags is way low. You need to Vape more. Maybe get some 24 mg also for when you need a stronger fix. A lot of people start at 24. I Vape maybe 20 deep puffs if I need it. But usually I Vape smaller amounts throughout the whole day. Luckily I can Vape at the office so it's random all day. At night I'm a chimney and use 8 mg mainly because I just am enjoying the flavor.

Congrats on your first 3 days smokefree :toast: It's likely from the fact that you're still going through withdrawal from quitting your cigarettes. If 1 ml a day is working for you that's fine but that's not very much, so if you feel a need to vape more don't be afraid to do so right now. Especially in the beginning, all that matters is getting you off of cigarettes and past your bodies withdrawal from all the additives in those nasty cigarettes.

Edited since you posted your nic level while I was typing :) Don't worry about how much you vape right now, just worry about getting through the first few weeks.

I'd also suggest looking up the thread talking about proper vaping techniques for best effect. Check this link out if you haven't read it already, might make a difference to make sure your vaping is as effective as it could be.

Gratz on the 4 days so far bud glad to hear it! Keep it up you can do eeet. Don't stress yourself though if you break down a lil, just do what many have suggested and remember how many you've not smoked.

You've given up the smokes, yay! but you're suffering from withdrawals? oh no.

It's going to happen, you've been smoking, you're body's addicted to more than just nicotine. You can up your nicotine levels and vape as often and for as long as you like, well until you start to feel ill, then stop. And Drink lots!!!
But seriously you need to give it at least a week or two to get over the worst of it, for some these withdrawals can go on for longer.

Give yourself a chance, steer clear of things that get on your nerves, you probably had a routine when you were smoking and that has changed too, find new ways of dealing with situations. Let people now you've given up smoking, normally that warns them that you're bound to be a bit grumpy at first, these feelings will go away though. Does your wife smoke?

Remember vaping is not the same as smoking, it can't magically replace your cigarettes. Don't put yourself under pressure to replace one for the other. For some a gradual cutting back process works better. Slowly and at your own pace you'll start reaching for the PV rather than the cigs. Best of luck and don't be too hard your wife.;

I feel much better since I been vaping. Mess up my sleeping getting all niced out.....oh well. Learning all the time. PS my apologies to the wife.....they stick together you know and I don't want it getting back to my beautiful, wonderful, can't survive without her, the world can't survive without her, wondering how mankind has made it this far, gorgeous wife. :confused:
