Hi all,

I ordered a few of liberro go ecigs last week as my intention was to quit smoking the death sticks. Started on sunday morning. After a smoking a full 20 deck in 5 hours the night before I didnt want to look at another cig anyway!

1st 2 days with the liberro were great so i bit the bullet and got myself a fancy rok star which would work out cheaper in the long run as i can refill the tank :)

Its been even better, not had a craving and loving the different flavours. This is where my problem comes in...

I have had a couple of menthol flavours (lemon bieng my favourite from paradise vape) but after topping it up with one called caramel cappucino (which i hated!). Everything now takes like that disgusting flavour, it seems to have contaminated my tank.

Any ideas on how to get rid? I have tried searching the forum but maybe im using the wrong word in 'contamination'

Cheers all

You don't mention what type of tank system you're using.

If it's the Stardust/Clearomizer style tank, you'll need to clean it out (wash & dry) and then add a different flavor. If you are using a carto/tank setup, you'll need to be sure to change the carto in the tank.

Thanks for the reply Kay,

TBH im not sure, I would think its one i need to wash out. I was sure about washing it but it the tank seems to be pretty tough plastic.

What iv done for now is switch to my spare tank and left the other bits to dry off to see if that helps.

Maybe someone who owns a Rok star would be able to shed light for me what type of system it is. Its one of the most popular ones in UK i believe.

Cheers and thanks for the help, ill keep trawling the site to see if i can find what my system is

Hello & welcome Jacko.

I'm also in the UK, but can't help much with the Rok Star as I've never used it & I believe it has a none standard thread. I know that when it was first launched, a lot of folks bought it, but had problems with leaking etc. I believe those problems were solved with the later model, to at least a certain extent. It's actually not at all popular with the folks on the various UK e-cigarette forums. However, there is one guy that still loves the Rok star though & he can be found via his blog -

Thanks for the replies guys, Chrissie pointed out on another thread. I thought this one was too far back to be noticed :)

Ill try the lemon juice trick kabonk, it makes perfect sense!

Chrissie, mine seems to be working fine so far. Apart from the one I have, I wouldnt know where to start tbh.

I presume when my knowledge starts building up I can look at upgrading etc. Ill just have to keep reading :)

Hi, welcome and congrats on making the switch.

I'll admit I don't know anything about the Rokstar so am unable to help.

What I can tell you is if you are looking for juices and don't want to waste time cleaning attys and such is that there is a physical shop now in stockport that let you try before you buy (I saw your location as being in manchester which isn't too far away).

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Jacko, those videos that tattoocloud linked to are from the same guy's blog I linked to.

I'm guessing the B&M shops you & Trilly are referring to are TW's? If so they aren't cheap. If you don't mind a going a bit further afield, Vape Escape have a B&M shop in Heywood -

Contact Us - Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Yea I noticed Chrissie, perfect for what I need. I have now watched every single one of them, thanks again :)

I heard they werent cheap, TBH I was just going to cruise by and get a sample of the flavours to see which groups I can get on with (fruit, sweets, tobbaco etc) maybe make a token small purchase and then carry on shopping online. Im not too far from Heywood either, I work up that neck of the woods a bit too so it would be nice to have a little look.

Jacko, if you can get to visit Vape Escape in Heywood, Jason will let you try anything out - including most of the e-liquids he sells. Lol, I know I sound like a record with the needle stuck, but Jason @ Vape Escape really does go the extra mile with customer service.
