Using eGo Twist (just ordered a backup) as well as a Protank and Protank Mini and just tonight ordered an Aspire BDC tank. Down to one stinkie a day. Still pretty good after almost a 2 PD habit for years. Can't seem to kick the morning Winston. The rest of the day is cake & having fun trying out different flavors. Current likes are black licorice and green apple. Already have saved... well, not counting the vapor investments, over $100.

Cheers!

Hi Lance and congrats on the progress you've made. Sounds like you are doing great. It really is fun trying out different flavors. I haven't gotten the "new and shiny" gear bug yet, but I sure have gotten the "gotta have lots of different flavors" bug. The green apple you mentioned sounds darned good. I rotate in the evening between chocolate chip mint ice cream (as I type), just before it was raspberry and before that was banana colada. Some nights different flavors seem to taste better than other nights. I figure that rotating will decrease my chance of getting vaper tongue again.

Glad you found us and keep sharing your experience. Keep the vape and namaste.

Not everybody walks away from cigs the first day. Some do and that's great but others take longer. Took me six weeks to reach my last cig. But now that last one is almost a year ago. I remember that first one in the morning hung on for a while. Then one morning, the thought of having one of those things early in the day seemed revolting and that habit died. For me, the last one to go was after a meal. That one was like a cat on a curtain. :)

My opinion is enjoy the vaping. Seriously, the more you enjoy your vape, the less interesting smoking becomes. Then it can sneak up on you. I hadn't been "counting" days or anything. It just hit me one day this month my last cig was April last year. I had stopped thinking about smoking at all and lost track of how long it had been.

Some thirty years, two packs a day and now I can't imagine why I ever liked smoking. I know I did like it. Just not sure why. Vaping is just... better.

by the way; the miniprotank base fits on the protank; just may have to add an extra silicone cap inverted on top the atomizer to make up for some space; that way you end up with the size of the protank with the better electrical connection and airflow of the miniprotank.

Welcome to ECF Lance! You're on the right path! Congrats on your progress so far. Give 'er a little will power and you'll zip right through those morning smokes. Three days later, you'll want to wake and vape! Good luck on your journey!

I, myself, have saved....eh...who am I kidding? I'm sill in the hole... ;)

Keeping it interesting is the key (for me) and if chocolate chip mint doesn't live up to my cheerful expectations, I'm going back to tobacco :)

I feel that way, too. I have about 5 toppers loaded with different juices and rotate them throughout the day. I have a couple of real favorites, but I don't vape them all day long because I don't want to get tired of them.

I remember that syndrome from when my kids were little. They could not get enough of something and wanted to eat it all the time. Then got so tired of it, I could hardly get them to try it again.:)

Yep...tasty. But tonight the banana colada is really the zone in my taste buds. Double tasty. And you are so right, keeping it interesting is important. Keep the vape and namaste.

Excellent! Don't sweat that one too much, I had exactly the same problem for a few days. Do not obsess over the few you're still smoking, instead celebrate the ones you're not.

I'm surprised no one has asked you this yet, but: What nicotine level is the juice you're vaping? Some people find they need something stronger in the mornings than the rest of the day.

I had a 2 pack aday for 30 yrs and me and my wife just stopped in to a shop and bought a couple of starter kits and a couple juices and the cigarettes were over that night. I still had the morning craving but was determined not to smoke. So i went and got a tabacco juice that I liked and mixed some cinnamon with it for that morning kick and its worked for me no cigarettes for 12 days. Me and my wife have enjoyed going and testing different flavors and up grading , we have spent a ton of money and it can be frusturating with all the options out there. Congrat and keep going

Out of necessity, I've become a master of the cheap vape. I spend maybe 80% less than smoking. Seriously. I'm saving truckloads. I have to. Money is tight, tight, and, also, I ain't got none. :)

When I first got here, I thought the folks who bought lots of gear and all were maybe a little nutty. Then it hit me the really insane hobby is paying money for the privilege of inhaling toxic smoke. So now I think if you're enjoying yourself and it keeps you away from tobacco, well, as they say... vape on...
