80 (average age of death) - 18 (start smoking age) = 62 (years of smoking in your life) * 2 (min it takes to get a pack from store) * 365(number of times per year to get one pack from store for one pack a day) / 60 (min per hour) = 754 hours or / 24 (hours in a day) =

31 days of time saved not buying a pack at the store in a lifetime :)

Could you imagine waiting in line at walmart for 31 days? :)

Yes, up to 9 months or so usually less.

So some irritation is normal? It came back today and I've been wheezing a bit.

Going on day three with no analogs and doing okay. :)
Aside from the issue with the bronchial constriction I'm finding that the vaping at 24mg is just enough. I still want an analog occasionally for the quicker nic fix but if I vape enough that goes away.

I do feel kinda guilty for some reason... like I haven't REALLY quit smoking. Mental baggage, no doubt! :D

I smoked outside in all kinds of weather for a long long time. Found it hard to vap outside because I really wanted a cig. Gave myself permission to vap inside to help retrain my brain. That did the trick. Last smoke was 2/19 and I'm doing great. I'm so happy.....something that works!

Now, if I can control my adult beverage consumption.........I'm hoping the whiskey and rum flavors I've order will help. Anyone have any sucess with this?

Congratulations Metstoo! I hope it's still going well for you and your discomforts have subsided by now! I'm more than 6 weeks in and a few weeks ago I found that I could take DEEP breaths, for the first time in decades. Less than a week in I first noticed my senses of taste and smell were returning. Keep it up!

Dunno. I like beer. I got some lager cartos but didn't like them very much.

Ok, so I started Vaping on Jan 31st. The first 4 weeks, I dealt with hacking up the Goo, brown and yellow varieties. Also experienced the chest tighting and kinda soreness, it started right away and has really eased up since the end of week 3, although it still pops up every 3 days or so.

One thing I noticed right away, was if I stuck my vaporizer in my mouth every time I got a craving, I was ok. I have to admit I vape crazy more than I ever smoked, and I was a pack and half a day man.

I started my vaping experience with a M201, M401 & M402 and I am awaiting delivery of my Chuck and a Prodigy V2. One day I will own a JB if I can ever hit the site at the right time when the planets and stars are aligned and they are accepting orders.

Basically, after 30 some days of strictly vaping I can say I will not ever go back to analogs, I know because I made it a point to buy a pack yesterday and couldn't smoke them because of the smell and the taste, how the hell I ever started 24 years ago is beyond me.

Vaping Rulez!!!

Thanks! :)

I'm almost 19 days in already! Wow... Actually still coughing though. I think part of that is allergies. Oak trees get to me! Once in a while I get that deep breath in but I'm having small fits of allergic asthma so it's not often enough yet. My teeth are whiter! My car smells better. I'm holding steady at about 26mg of nicotine. I'll step that down soon as I've noticed that I'm not vaping nearly as much as I needed to the first week or so.

I must admit, though, to still feeling like a smoker... I guess it's because the vaping is such a similar occupation or habit? I know I'm doing really well but I guess I have some quitter's guilt or something. Heh! Crazy!

:D
