Well maybe not completely but feel it coming on :p

So I received my Starter Kit today and of course like a kid at Christmas I ripped open the package and was like WOW and damn now what all at once lol.

First I went through the ordeal of finding that the pre-installed carts were blank
Then the pre-filled carts gurgled and had very little vapor and also didn't know what strength nicotine they were if any. So I decided to put them to the side as they would not help me figure what I liked.

I was not impressed and started to worry that my journey was going to suck.

Finally took one of the cartomizers and filled it (dripping drop after drop) with 36 mg Pina Colada which I was pretty sure I would want to dedicate a cartomizer to. What a difference. Full vapor and nice TH, finally this was going to be a very nice journey.
So here I sit vaping and a empty ashtray sitting in front of me
Now my choice of the Pina Colada was a good one, it might not be my all time favorite (first I've tried) but I will dedicate a cartomizer to that flavor and buy more.

Problem though is I need to learn to drip (i.e. test) cause I've got 5 other flavors with this order and another 7 flavors coming already :p

I have the
eGo-Mega-Dual-Coil-Cartomizer-Flat-Tip
and the Clear-eGo-Mega-Dual-Coil-Flat-Tip-Cartomizer coming with the 7 more flavors.
Along with the Black-Delrin-Drip-Tip-for-the-EGO-Dual-Coil.

By the name I figure I can drip with the last item but are the first two designed for dripping ? My thought is no but wanted to get advise.

Another question that I have is about the batteries that came with the kit. The web site said 900 mah, the booklet with the kit said 650 mah. How do I know ?

On top of that it appears to be a 3.7v (from the booklet) and web site states "Low Resistance(less than 2.0 ohms) atomizers and cartomizers should not be used with eGo batteries."

However through some math with the Ohms = (Volts^2) / Watts and recommendations that Watts be between 4 and 8. That works out to a Ohms value of between 1.7 and 3.4. So about right but how seriously should I take the warning of using less thatn 2.0 Ohms ?

:laugh:Yippee! You are vaping at last! As for the warning, I've used the Resurrectors (1.7ohms) on my geniune ego for several months now with zero problems, so take the warning as serious as you want. And no cartomizer is used for dripping- run a search on dripping for clarification, but the atomizer and a tip is all you'll want to drip!

The 2.0 warning is there to cover their a.. Yes LR is harder on batteries but many use low ohm with the Ego/Riva with no issues. I wouldn't go to much below 2ohm though and you may find you don't want to, some do.

Dripping is easy, you just drip a few drops directly on the atomizer and vape until you feel the flavor going away then drip a few more drops. Uou're going to need a atomizer and drip tip if you don't have one already. Either a 306 or 510 atomizer will work with your battery. Many prefer the 306 as a dripping atty but 510 is great also. If you go with a 306 atty you'll need a 306 drip tip as they fit differently, 510 attys take 510 drip tips.

As for what mah rating the battery is, hard to say. The 900mah battery will be longer than the 650mah but it would be hard to tell without having the other there to compare it to and I haven't measured them. My guess is it's a 900mah battery and the destruction sheet is just standardized Chinese Rubbish. You could contact the vendor to be sure if it really matters to you.

I'm not a fan of dripping, myself. Could be because I've never had a very good atty, but that aside...

Cartomizers are cheap, I've found that if I like the smell of a liquid, then the flavor will be -about- the same. I don't feel bad filling a carto with liquid, even if I only use one filling and then set it aside forever. I mean, I've spent more to try things that were bad, right? (RedBull, when it was first introduced, I remember pouring it out after the first sip....and then 5 years later, I'm sitting in a bar slamming it with vodka. Strange, huh?)

Cheers!

The kit you linked to includes 2 attys and 5 pre-filled cartos, so you've got the attys and when you get the drip tip, you can start dripping. It's taken me several tries, personally (I'm a little thick-headed sometimes  ), but I finally figured it out, though I like it best on the LR Hybrid attys. Cartos can be cleaned and re-used, just search around in the forum for plenty of tips and tricks on that. :)

Put a ticket in on MV website to ask your question on the mah for the batt explaining what you did above. They usually respond pretty quickly. Or use their forum here for the question.

The drip tip you mentioned has to be combined with an atty to drip - or you can use it as a mouthpiece for any carto (which is what I do with them as well). Beats the rubber and/or plastic stoppers, IMHO.

You should be all right on the carto you mentioned on your 3.7v ego - I use a 1.7 SMK carto on my GoGo, which is also 3.7v, and it just ROCKS. Of course, YMMV. :D
