Really sooner or later you are going to want to step into mods and when you do, you are going to need generic batteries and a charger. Liberty Flights has the Ego E-power 3.7V kits for $59.99. With 18650 batteries. It doesn't specify the MAH on the batts but, I can't remember ever seeing an 18650 that was less than 2200. When the time comes, battery replacement will be cheaper too. That's what I'd recommend.

I've been vaping for about 3 years now.. I tried out a few mods last year, they were cool and all, but I decided to sell them and go back to the basics. I love my Ego style e-cigs. Even over a 5v mod box.

To each his own. I like to use straight atomizers with no filler and I didn't much care for the eGo-T. So, a juice delivery system of some type is a requirement for me. However, the e-power I mentioned is an eGo styled e-cig. Just a little bigger around with a lot more battery capacity.

Thus far I have 'converted' thirteen aquaintenances to vaping, most with Riva PVs and a couple of eGo MDCCs. With one exception, all are still vaping!

My goal is to provide them with a 'fiddle-free' system that provides a VERY satisfying vaping experience. Only one has asked about upgrading. Most folk just want to get off 'bakky, no hobbie$ for them.

I have to agree with you with respect to the "fiddle-free" point. Plug-n play the eGO-T ain't in my experience. However, I'm not an I-want-it-NOW! kind of guy so I committed to the learning curve with the system.

I'll continue to recommend the eGO-T as a starter system, but with a caveat: "You're going to have to bite the bullet and learn how to make it perform right."
