Whats really odd is I have 1.5 dual coils and 2.0 dual coils, the 2.0s are performing better on my ego batt than the 1.5, I thought the lr of the 1.5 would be better.

You would think so. The resistance on the DCC's can sometimes be inconsistent. If you check them with a multimeter, you may be surprised what the actual Ohm's are. Some are just better than others. I've found that you can have two identical DCC's and one vapes like a beast and the other is....meh.
