okay I have failed again.....can anyone tell me where I can get a DC to USB converter that gives out enough power to use a USB passthrough in my car?......

Heres a 5v 2amp (2000mAH) DC to USB from Vapor kings. It's not the cheapest, but it is made to his custom specs.
I use this in my car with my Puresmoker 5V PT with no issues at all.

I have no experience vaping in my car with a passthrough, but you should be good if you find something that powers a gps unit as those things are pretty power hungry.

yikes....the warnings about using 2ah.....since I use cartomizers and they start to feel warm coming off my computer I had better look for something a bit lighter in my lighter....

I have ElectroNicStix's 510 passthrough w/o battery and two CigEasy KR808 passthroughs
5v 1000 mA is useless for a Joye 510 atty using a PT without a battery. It won't even fire it.
This. I'm not quite sure what you're worried about. I used my 510 PT from Vaporkings (same place) and it worked just fine.
Now I use my 5v PS PT and it works even better!
If I'm lying I'm dying. I vape all day in my car w/ my 5V 510. Although slighty less vapor than my 5V 1.5 ac plug in.
