I made this using a DCT, 100% cotton yarn for wicking material, and spare clearomizer parts. The coil is about 8 'wraps' and metered out at around 6ohms using 32g nichrome. The quality is bad because I used my cell phone camera. Didn't feel like getting out my digi. Anyway, I ran 2x 18350's at roughly 7.4v unregulated. Produces more vapor than any production unit I've ever tried. I'll likely rebuild this and do a pic-by-pic tutorial. Enjoy.

Fudged? I put in a new, higher resistance coil in to work with the higher voltages. Think about the size of the hole in a pre-punched dual coil carto. It's tiny, very tiny. Smaller than 1/16. Leaks and flooded liquid are still common problems with DCT's. Suppose I cut the top half of one off and then stick it in there with a tank full of liquid. Not going to fly. Using the CE2 parts, adding a thicker o-ring to the connector of the CE2 and then using an atty tube to seal it in the bottom plug made much more sense. Maybe my intentions will be clarified with a tutorial.

Nice one! I have been using something similar for several months now and this is really simple to build. Mine uses a modified/repairable regular CE2 Clearomizer which is screwed in to the bottom of the tank using a 510 adapter/connector (LavaTube eGo Adapter).
