Ok well I got one last week and I got my provari today was waiting to use it till I got my provari. My issue with this is that it floods my carto like CRAZY. I take a vap and I just watch the juice level go down. I than get a mouth full of juice that I almost makes me sick. SO what do I do to have this not suck the juice up like this? I use a 50/50 mix. Any help would be great put this aside for now till I can figure it out dont want any more juice in the mouth.I think it is the 2 holes punched into them that it gets to much juice.Any tips would be great guys. Went threw a whole 3 ml tank in less than 2 hrs. from it just sucking it in.Cost me a fortune to keep using this thing.LOL

Wow, that really stinks, do you have a picture of the carto you are using? I have only had one person I actually know of who has issues with leaking, turned out to be the juice they were using in that case. Mine leaked with the black wrapped cartos but it hasn't with the ones that do not have the black tape on them. Also where do the holes show up inside the tank? My holes are just tiny slits one on each side of the carto and they are at the battery end of the carto. If I am using a thinner liquid I just make sure that the carto slits are just below the top of the bottom end cap where I cannot see them through the Poly Tube.

If you have a pic of the tank showing it put together and one of just the carto it would help a lot to try and help you diagnose the leaking.

I have graveyeard shift tonight so I will be checking back to try and help you out with this because I love mine and it has not leaked a drop after getting the right cartos and situating the holes in the right spot.

Okay, I see the issue now. With that size of a hole, you should only need one hole in the carto in order to properly wick the liquid. Also since I believe you got the pre punched ones, if you slowly and carefully work the carto down a little bit at a time until the holes are completely covered by the bottom cap, it should slow the flow of liquid into the cartomizer a little.

What I have discovered about these is if you have a dremel tool and it has the carbide cutter wheel, (Larger Black one with the hash marks on it), you can make a small slit in the carto with that precisely 1/2 inch above the base of the carto at the battery end. Not 1/2 inch from the bottom of the connector, just from the base of the main body itself. This places the hole right at the top of the bottom cap and you can control the juice flow by sliding the tank up and down the carto as desired.

It looks like the holes are punched really low. When you've got the tank on your battery, does the bottom seal of the tank cover the air holes on the carto?

Not all the way no I can see the holes. That wouldnt cause flooding would it I wouldnt get any juice and dry burn if the holes are covered would this be true?

It will still get juice if the holes are not visible through the clear tube. I never see my holes but I get perfect juice flow every time because there is still space between the carto and the end cap all the way down to the inner o-ring.

Sounds good I will try that and see how it goes.Gonna have to get some cartos I guess where can you get the short DC ones for these tanks? Thanks.

The ones I get are from E-Cig City in Laguna Beach, they are SmokeTech Dual coil Stainless Steel cartos. I have a dremmel so I get the ones that are not pre punched. Although Jason, (The owner of the Store) did do the cuts on the one I have been using since I bought this SS DCT from him and it has worked flawlessly. I also use the 2 ohm Cartos too on my Provari because you can up the Volts and it works awesome.

I would give him a call, if you want the number I can get it to ya no problem at all.

Okay, Cool Beans, yeah I am not sure who supplies him with the Dual Coil 2 ohm cartos, but I know I like them better than the 1.5 ohm ones. Mainly because I can take more advantage of the range of voltages on the Provari with them. You can run them nearly all the way up to 6v. I have found my sweet spot right at 5.2 volts on these with the juice I use. When I am using the LR cartos though I can get it as high as 4.3V before it starts giving me the E2 error, so I usually keep the LR ones between 3.9 and 4.1 volts on the Provari when I use the LR ones.
