Good afternoon fabulous ECF'ers....

I did some impulsive shopping this weekend and think I went over my head a bit. I vape on 1000 mah eGo's and for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to get one of these tanks from litecigusa (great vendor btw...no complaints for them) https://www.litecigusa.net/PhotoDetails.asp?ShowDESC=N&ProductCode=510dct3.5sml

Doing a little post shopping research I found that most of you recommend not using dual coils on eGo's and I have had a massive eGo die off here and don't want to buy anymore for awhile. I have also bought quite a bit of stock of the Boge 2.0 cartos as well. I have seen some posts on here suggesting you can use the Boge 2.0 cartos in the tanks. I was just wondering if I was reading that right and if I could use my Boge 2.0 cartos in the tank I bought so that the tank does not go to waste. If so do I need to do any modifications to them? TIA

1.7ohm smoktech's "resurrectors" work great on an eGo and they are long enough for the tanks pictureed in the link above. I use vv devices but still buy the resurrectors because they are xxl and wick very well for me in a tank. They come in Stainless steel and are easy to punch with a saddle valve. They are single coil cartos. I don't like dual coil cartos in a tank

I buy mine at crystalclearvaping.. 15 for $20.42 shipped using the code ecf5off AND you get your choice of free drip tips!

you can still use your 2.0 boge in the tanks you bought, you would have to cut them to the length of the carto.

I don't use eGos much anymore but when I did, I used these cartos.

Have you looked at maybe cutting the acrylic tube down to fit a regular single coil in it? I have a friend that used a dremel to do that, and it worked well for him. Also, I think hoosierecigsupply has the smoktech xl single coils in stock, and should work in that tank.
Hoosierecigsupply has single coil smoktech carto's in stock that will fit that tank, I believe.

@ donnah I'll have to check that out. I am not going to fiddle with cutting down the Boge 2.0's.

@ DarkAnjil I am not going to cut down the acrylic tube as I value my fingers. Me and a dremel should never meet I'm sure. I am going to have to check out Hoosierecigsupply...I have them saved in my favorites menu but haven't bought anything from them. Is this the one you were talking about?

If so would I order the 2.0 Single coil even though it says for 3.7 v devices?

Thanks for the responses! This is the info I am looking for.

Correct, select 2.0 ohm single coil in the drop-down. It should work brilliantly on the long (1100 mah) ego batteries and clones. Matter of fact, the 650 ego short battery should fire it just the same. Ego batteries aren't true 3.7 devices, and this is where ego-related problems can develop - people expect the ego to be at 3.7 or 3.6v under load, and in reality it's at around 3.4v under load usually.

I did try a 1.6 ohm dual-coil on my old ego 1100 mah battery, and while my battery was fine afterwards, I couldn't get it to produce much vapor. The same dc carto's are fog machines on my vv mod at 3.8 volts though. :)
