DCT tank plastic

Hi, I'm trying to find the exact type and size plastic used on the ego 510 cartomizer tank that I ordered from madvapes: eGo 510 Dual Coil Tank Cartomizer, 2.5ml. I'm attempting to build my own atomizer and I can't find the type of plastic used and I need it to be the exact size in order to make it fit flush with my ego battery from what I gathered the dimensions are 9/16 OD 1/2 ID and 1/16 wall thickness but I can't find the exact size

Also what would be the best type of plastic to use?

I used to use those. If you have an old one, put it onto your battery, then you can "wiggle" the plastic tube off. Be gentle; it will go, but if you rush or use too much force you can crack it

Well, I don't have a spare but I am looking for the same type plastic same dimensions, but I want it longer, if I could find the same everything besides length of tube and I cut it to the size that I want, then I will buy that, or any type of plastic that is close to it, chemically resistant, good strength, etc. I just don't know what type of plastic to buy..

Can anyone else help me? I would also like to know which would be better, polypropylene or polycarbonate? Know any good websites with a wide variety of sizes? Possibly the sizes I'm looking for?

Stock tube is polycarbonate. Polypropylene is softer and usually has a slight bend to it (not an issue when used in short lengths). Polycarbonate can crack with acidic fruit flavors or cinnamon where polypropylene won't.

I can't speak for the ego tank but the original 3.5ml DCT was 5/8 x 1/2 x 1/16 polycarbonate that can be found on amazon or McMaster-Carr.
