De-wick without de-bridging?

Is this possible? I use 510 Joye atties in a Vmod XL bottom feeder. From what I understand, de-wicking helps them last longer, since the wick isn't necessary unless you're using a cartridge. I happen to like having the bridge, since it helps block juice from getting in the mouth if the atty gets spitty.

It doesn't sound doable to me. Then again my fingers aren't very nimble and I'm no de-wicking expert. Others may have a different opinion and/or success doing this. Just have to wait and see if anybody chimes in. I guess if you break apart the mesh over the bridge and endeavor to pull it out with tweezers, it's possible the wick may come out with it while leaving the bridge intact. Try practicing on an aging, near death atty. Good luck.

I always pull the wicks out without debridging them. It's easier--I think, anyway--if you vape on them for a little while. They're easier to pull out if they're wet.

And really, it's not that difficult. Get one of those medical tweezers. Makes it even easier.

I use pointed tweezers, and can remove the wick only no problems. They work great. Can't get much easier, I also debridge mine tho. But that is step 2 in my process after the wick is removed. So it might be possible. I don't have any bottom feeder experience yet tho.
