So I somehow got my batts mixed up for my 3.7v oldgoat feeder and as I get to work my battery dies! NOOOO!!! So I'm sitting here, 6 months smoke free and thinking about running to the gas station across the street for some smokes. Thank GOD my wife was off today and could bring me my *charged* battery, otherwise I may have bought a pack. Have any of you suffered from early morning battery mix ups?

Nope. Part of completely quitting smoking was making sure I always have a few batteries with me. An extra bottle of juice is a good idea too. You could throw a backup kit in the car. I keep extra stuff in a small camera case (cartos, battery, charger) and always carry that with me. I never forgot my pack of smokes, now I don't forget that case!

If you work with a computer, having a USB passthru and/or charger is a good idea too.

When I first started vaping, I had a Joye 510 .. forgot my charger at home.. Was contemplating getting ciggs, but I made a quick phone call to my dad (my biggest Quitting cheerleader ever!), and he brought it to me.

More recently though, last month I guess (6 months quit), I forgot the charger to either my eGo or Riva -- I was not so lucky that time. By noon I was at the gas station. :p But it wasn't my only slip (I've had 4 :p), and I don't really feel all that bad about it.

I always bring both 3.7V batteries and the charger to work.

And in fact, yesterday, left a battery sitting in the charger at work... Backtracked 20 mins in rush hour to come back and retrieve it -- no 3.7v vaping and possibly burning down the work building? No thanks!

Hmm.. maybe I'm a little ditsy! :p

I have a few extra cartos that I keep in the glove box. I worry about heat + batteries in the car as we've had a few scorchers already this year(please, if im wrong about this let me know!). I'm usually really careful, but I've been on pain meds the last few days plus being early in the morning I must've been extra "out of it" lol. I'd just hate to fall off the wagon after so long. This has been my longest smoke free period since I started smoking about 12 years ago.

Adeline: I've had to drive back to work countless time for forgetting stuff Doh! From my wallet to my PV, I leave something at the desk almost every other day it seems lol!

That's a good point. I've taken to also stashing extra batteries in various spots, one of them being my car. Haven't had a problem with it in the heat (I'm in MI too so we share the same weather!) I don't know, could this be a problem? It's a good question.

I cooked my nokia cellphone in my car one summer long ago before polyphonic ringtones existed. back when T-mobile was called voicestream. Since then I've always been leery of leaving anything in the car. When I get my Reo Grand with the 18650 batt I shouldn't have anymore worries since that bad boy should last me all day long!

Had a similar thing happen. All the batts in my purse died. And I carry several... And still had to go to the grocery. Couldn't do it. Luckily I could go home.
First thing I did was to store a complete set up in my car. I used an old blu I had... Plus PT, batts, carts, all nice and compact. Plus I no longer worry!
