My Chuck just now stopped working. No switch misbehavior, no vapor, no action at all. Just stopped doing anything. I have two freshly charged 18650s, new atomizers that work fine on a 510 passthrough. Is there anything I can do (like CPR?). Chuck hasn't taken any falls, have been no mishaps. Wahhhhhhhh!

First you should get a multimeter and check voltage at the atty connector. I'm betting it's working fine but the atty + isn't making contact with Chuck +.

There are tiny wires souldered together. Perhaps one of these has broken or came loose. Does the switch feel like it is connected to something. Take the bottom off and with a flashlight look down in there to see if some wires are loose or have broken. You need to return it to Jeff. Email Jeff (hopefully he will answer you)

Houdini, I just got mine and haven't been able to use it yet, but the atty end of my chuck doesn't look like that, mine is recessed.

ETA: my cartmomizer adaptor should be here soon, though.

The switch is acting like it is active (I had a broken switch and you sure can tell when that happens). It presses in, has a bit of spring to it. It gave to indication anything was wrong, vaped once and it was perfect, the next vape it was dead. I've jimmied all the connecting parts and no signs of life from Chuck whatsoever. Poor Chuck (poor me LOL).

This happened to me. What the problem was is that even though the battery was
showing green in the charger, it really was dead as a doornail. After sending it back to Jeff, I went and bought some analog batteries and tried them, voila, they worked. I ordered some new batteries and a new charger and not have that problem since then.

You must have a 510 connector on yours - right? Mine is an 801 connector and they are the opposite from a 510.

Do you have a voltmeter / multimeter? That's the only way to know for sure. Put one lead on the center of the connector, the other on the outside and push the switch. If you don't get 3.7 or 6 V, I would guess that the leads inside the endcap have broken off of the switch or the atty connector. That can happen over time with screwing on and off multiple attys because the center connector of the atty is direct soldered to a wire with no strain relief. If you screw on the atty too tight, you torque the center post and eventually metal fatigue will set in...

I have an 801 connector on my Chuck, use 510 attys. I tried 6v but wasn't all that impressed with it. The 18650's seem just fine to me, so I don't need to mess with HV attys or anything else. I've thought about using the 801 attys but I really do like my 510s (and they work on my PT too so I don't have to stock different attys). I may try an 801 just so I can get rid of the adapter. I've noticed it is messy and just more parts to have to clean and adjust. Anybody recommend the 801's over the 510?
