Tonight my X2 (650 auto) is being really uncooperative. I'm using it as a passthrough and it seems to hit fine for one or two hits, then it acts like it's entirely dead. Then I put it down for a while (actually I switch to my 78) and then when I try the X2 again it hits fine once or twice, then it just acts dead. The blue charging light is on. I tried it on both a laptop usb and on the 1.5 usb wall adaptor, same either way. I also tried the usb cable from my daughter's X2, no difference. This battery is about a month old and I've been using it a lot, several hours a day. I was using it without the passthrough a lot today so no doubt the battery is run down a lot - but with the passthrough it should still vape OK while charging, shouldn't it? Surely this isn't a typical lifespan for one of these batteries. Is this happening because the battery was run down and it's charging as I vape, or is this something to contact SI about?

Are you getting a flashing light on the button when it is dry hitting? If so, the battery does indicate it needs recharging. If not, it might be getting flooded. Have you removed the clearo/cart and seen if you have a deposit of juice on the battery?

Also, it is not a true passthrough. A true passthrough has no battery to function when not connected. The X2 just allows you to vape while charging. If the battery is too depleted, it will need a little bit of charging time to work in a passthrough mode. Depending on how long you press per inhale and how often, you could likely be drawing more current than it is charging.
