I bought a Riva about a month ago from AltSmoke. Did the initial charge on the battery and all that jazz.

The other night, I used it until it gave me the blinking light. I put it on the charger over night. Next morning I threw my atty on and...nothing. All I get from the battery now is a blinking light, but it seemingly will not charge as the battery light stays green. The atty performs fine on the other Riva battery as well as my Silver Bullet.

Any ideas? Is there a warranty of any kind on this product?

I should also note that I've tried contacting AltSmoke through the website, but its been a couple days and I haven't heard anything back.

Thanks for any suggestions and/or help.

Steve

No warrenty on Batts unless DOA, remember they are only Batts like every other Batt some last a week some 7-8 months, also remember if your using an LR Atty it will put much more stress on these Batts as they ae not an IMR, so you risk them dying faster. A manufacturer could make 1,000,000 Batts in a run, about 10 percent of those will be bad, another 10 percent just so so and then you will have some that last a real long time, you never know which one your gonna get. I would order a few more so you have a stash, I must have 20 or more and know I will never run out.

I received my Riva tonight, one battery got an initial charge fine. The second battery behaved just like you described, I wrote the supplier and told them that my battery was DOA, and he said a new one's going out tomorrow and I'll receive it Monday. I must say, the PV business has some excellent customer service.
