Im also OCD when it comes to my mods....I have owned 3 Provaris all Black Satin...Never dropped them-always carried them in a SuperT felt bag when leaving the house.... Over time they all developed some small marks where you could see the Silver under the ceramic coating....I will never own a colored Provari again:nah:.... Needless to say they have all been sold, I now own a Satin Silver Provari V2.5:).......
Yes the Ceramic coating is durable...
But like I said, I have owned 3 Black Satin Provaris....it does take time but it will happen eventually with the colors......Its the nature of the beast.......
Provape I would buy a Chrome one though. There has to be a quality Chrome out there that would meet Provape standards... I would pay an extra $40 for the upgrade....:)

I have a Black Chrome blem and the finish has been extremely durable, no wear or scratches. Made me wonder why they discontinued it for the satin finishes instead of having both available. It can become quite the slick fingerprint magnet though.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate luck with your recent purchase from Provape:(
I own two provaris, a white standard and a Black mini. Both are used multiple times daily and travel outside the office and house regularly. The finishes look as good as the day I took them out of the package. The White one is 2 months old and the black mini is 3 months old.
I accept the fact that over time the finish will wear and that normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty!!!!
But after two days???? This blemed finish is obviously NOT "normal wear and tear" and should be covered!!
I hope ProVape steps up and does the right thing here!!
Good Luck buddy, keep us posted!!!
(I am curious what your PM from Kenny said:))

I have a black ProVari and a silver one as well. The silver one still looks new, and so does the black one, with the exception of the 18650 extension cap. On the bottom edges of the cap, the paint is fading. I expected this since that is the part that the device rests on, but still looks a bit odd from the end.
