debridging an atty

some info on debridging an atty if you find that it damages the atty but the wick is burnt tasting remove the mesh and wick but leave the bridge intact dont remove the bridge it works well on 306 attys from cisco they are well built attys and dont do well if you remove the bridge.I hope this helps someone oh and i have not tried this on a 510 but should work also....:)

don't try this on a DSE atty with the metal washer ring in there. If you do, just take the mesh and leave the metal bridge, or the entire assembly will yank out and it will be parts in your hand ;-)

Hello,

I removed the wick from my LR 306 2.0 ohm atty and the flavor and hit is definitely better but I was wondering if I should also remove the metal bridge? I'm kind of scared to take out the bridge, it seems like an important component of the atty and I only have 2 LR 306 atomizers on hand, will order more later.

I would stop there with the 306, dewicking them is the best thing you could do IMHO. Removing the metal bridge could kill your 306. Not worth the risk!
