My apologies if I offended in my enthunsiastic attempt to answer a question that I myself had just a little over a week ago while reading multiple threads on E-powers. I honestly though I was offering clarification to a legitimate question. I would assume that SMOKTech named this unit, whether ethically right or not, to describe its design, power, and performance. For whatever the reason, the name of the unit is eGo E-power and I have found it to be a great PV.

Heyas,

Atty's are always a good thing to have around, for dripping/trying out new juices without committing a carto to it. And, 2 atties generally cost more than 1 box cartos. My suggestion would be to get the atties, a drip tip or two, and buy a box or two of cartos to try out. As far as dc carto's, I don't really care for them. Have tried them ranging from 1.6Ω to 2.5Ω on all kinds of pv's, from ego's and box muds, to a provari and other vv mods. Also, although dcc's will pull more current, they only get half as hot as a single coil carto of the same resistance. A 1.6Ω dcc has 2 x 3.2Ω in parallel. So, a 1.6Ω dcc is the same as sticking 2pv's each with a 3.2Ω carto into your mouth at the same time and vaping. Still not a satisfying vape, for me. 1 box each of single coil and dcc's should only run $15 or so, and along with the atties and some trial size juice bottles, will give you a wide range of possibilities to try out for a modest cost.

:D

I recommend E-Power 14650 from Hoosier because it is equipped with the blue LED switch electronics. There have been many issues reported with units equipped with the white LED electronics.

I have two, plus another in new spare parts.

E-Power From Smok Tech and HECS

The latest on the white LED switch issue...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...48025-current-e-power-14650-switch-issue.html

The starter kits for E-Power 14650 are found in a variety choices. Some include an atty+cart, some are equipped with cartos. Whichever you choose, I recommend making sure that the E-Power 14650 is equipped with the blue LED switch. Call or e-mail the vendor first, if necessary.

The E-Power 14650 features 3.7V, inexpensive standard Li-ion batteries and excels with the Smoketech 1.7 ohm or 2.0 ohm LR XL cartos.

I ordered this due to your suggestion, and wished I had never read your post. I have been left deeply frustrated dealing with the vendor. I am at day 70 of my order with Hoosier, and my package has still not arrived. He has simply stated that I should wait longer. How much longer should I wait? This is simply unacceptable any longer, but that's the only option that was given to me.

It's been almost a week since I requested an refund and haven't heard back. 70 bucks down the drain? I'm going to call my credit card company and contest it. I will detail more of my experience with hoosierecigsupply.com in another thread, but I would not be recommending him to anyone else. I've been patient forever, and seeing that he charges less now for delivery to Canada than what I paid, I'm just baffled at my experience. Go somewhere else.

WoW!! 70 days is way out of line. I ship stuff to Canada from Florida all the time and it never takes more than 45 days.

Could it be stuck at customs? Did hoosier send juice, maybe a sample bottle? Could it have been confiscated because of nic juice hoosier might have sent without thinking about it?

Definitely have the charges reversed on your card. Even shipping to Italy doesn't take that long.

I've asked him for a refund, and he seems to be ignoring me.

I asked for juice as well, but even at customs, it should've cleared a long time ago. I get the feeling he doesn't believe my word on not having received the package, even though I've been asking about it all along.

I'm glad you agree that 70 days is too long. Hoosier just seems to have nothing to say about it, which adds to my frustration.

Sorry for your pain, staypuff. I ordered the new blue switches with 5-click safety to upgrade my E-Powers less than a month ago and got my shipment four days later.

If juice was part of your order then your shipment may have been held at customs. Did you receive an email Order Shipping Notice from Hoosier?

I'm still loving the E-Power 14650.

They confiscate the package because of the juice? Are you sure? I didn't know that you couldn't import nicotine juice.

No, I'm not 100% sure, but I could've sworn I read that you couldn't import nic juice into Canada. People do it anyway, but they might be taking a risk, even a small one. Maybe you can ask someone in the Canadian forum. I think there's one here. There's one for a bunch of other countries. Or start a new thread.

That's another thing. If customs was holding it for taxes or anything, they should have sent you a notice. You could have overlooked it. If you contact your local post office, they might be able to help. The shipment would have had a Customs Declaration number. Hoosier will know that number. It might help them find it if it's waiting in the customs office.

I ship a lot of international stuff. When customers say they didn't get their package, 99% of the time it's sitting in their customs office.

That's a great idea. I will look into it in the morning.

Yup, got it in mid-January.

The hardest part is being in limbo committed to this, and not having it and thinking you'll get it soon. I've had to resort back to analogs here and there, when I should've been long done with it. Really sucks not knowing what's going on
