so my tax refund will be here soon and its time for a new build. I have decided on the evic vtc and was thinking the uwell crown was the way to go but i keep reading that it drinks juice like crazy so im a little worried about that. Im also looking at the kanger toptank and i really like the idea of that because it comes with a rba. Does anyone know how well the toptank and vtc will work together? Does anyone have any thoughts on the crown and its juice consumption? Or any other tanks i should be considering?

im coming from a nautilus mini so I am expecting a lil more juice consumption going subohm

I love my Crown as well, but it is juice-thirsty and doesn't hit stride with the 0.25Ω coil until you break 45W.
The Toptank or a Subtank Mini would be a step up from a Nauti Mini, paired with the 0.5Ω coil. Same applies for the Ego One tank that comes with the VTC Mini kit.
Ehhh.. Get two tanks - nothing wrong with having choices!! ;)

That's the greater concern with a single cell mod.
I can run the 0.5s around 30w in TC, but in power mode the Crown really pops when you throw some decent watts at it. That will flat your batteries quicker than you can blink. Tasty though. :p

It almost never sits on my VTC. For either mode.
You'll probably end up with one eventually, they're that good, but if you're limiting this buying spree I'd wait for more suggestions then compare again.
Lots and lots of really nice tanks out there now.

You mention the ST's RBA (the Crown RBA is an annoying bugger), are you including pure RTA tanks for consideration?

Exactly. It's sitting on my Cuboid at the moment, 50W on the .25Ω, been up to 60W on it but 50 is a decent compromise. Drinks like a man just walked out of the Sahara.. :w00t:
On a single-cell mod? Err, no. Wouldn't even think about it.

My vote is for the isub apex or s they both have top fill and coils that fit most anyone's vape style. I tried a buds apex and was really impressed with it alot more so than the sub mini i had. If i was into pre built coils still def be my pic oh and coils are a decent $.

The new heads available are definitely "new life" for the iSub line.
It just took forever to get here.
I may look into an "S" because of them... and the new RBA head.
Had four originals (1 is a G) for a year, been waiting a while. :D

The only rba head i've seen that i like is the reaper plus. The velocity style is perfect for a small area.

Your limited to 60w but I love the Herakles Plus for flavor, it's never leaked and is a really good tank..
Personally I would of gone for a dual battery mod with more power. It depends what resistance and wattage you like to vape though..
The Crown tank to me, personally needs more than 60w and your single battery isn't going to last very long at all.

Another one worth a mention, the Super tank / mini, again, shines at 70 - 75w with the Atlantis 2 0.3ohm coils.

If your sticking with the vct, I'd get a Subtank Mini.

I have only just really got back into RDA's, I can't go back to tanks now.

LOL. RTAs FTW. My drippers sit mostly idle now.
You can't fit monster builds, but I never went for those anyway.

Such an incredible variety of ways to vape. :p

eta: Kinda feel sad you mentioned the SuperTank. The thing fell off the radar.
Almost got one just before getting the Crown. Now... barely ever hear about it. :(

Massive variety, whatever works for you and it stopped me smoking so any type of vaping is cool with me.

I really love my Sapor RDA, incredible flavor compared to the tanks, nice deep juice well, top airflow, never leaks, love it..

The Super tank is great, another tank that has never leaked on me, a lot of people love the stock coils but I found the Aspire 0.3ohm to have more airflow and better flavor, either way, a great tank !

Yeah, agreed. And that truly insane TFV4 is right out. :p

Maybe OP will answer my Q about RTAs, because that would really open up the options.

Not quite sure what the difference between a rba and rta is?
