Greetings, I just quit smoking a week ago and started on this "vaping" thing and boy I tell you its effective as an alternative to smoking those cancer sticks... anyway as "per" recommendation of the store owner for someone like me who smokes cancer sticks 3 packs a day recommended a mechanical mod with a genesis style atty. my first is one they call here in the Philippines "Submarine telescopic" but the Image below is my second mechanical, as I loved the way this Mechanical Mod looks, learned to setup the genesis type atty from this website after countless hours of reading and watching "youtube" videos, Im using a 32 AWG twisted with about 7 turns which gives me right about 1.5 ohms reading from the + post and the - screw, really glad that there's a website like this. As you can see the "midas" is already half a bottle just after about a day and a half of vaping from the time of purchase, I guess I'm what you call "chain vaping" already ....

Congrats on deciding to give up tobacco, and yes vaping makes it very easy. I've tried at least a few times with the patch and chantix to no avail. I love how you went straight for the big guns, I'm still tinkering around with a cig-a-like and a twist. Of course I was only a pack a day smoker so what I have works for me. I do see a provari in the near future though.

Again, grats on the purchase and happy vaping. :toast:

That's awesome! Congrats on giving up the stinkies... Now get ready to spend all that money you were saving on mods and juice!

hmmm. I'm not too sure about good mods, because most of anything not made in china tends to be ridiculously expensive here in PI, as re-sellers or retailers here tends to inflate the prices up a good example is the "provari" which sells here plus shipping and on top of that add another round about 100 usd which I am not willing to pay for... and those are the easy to get stuff I'm not talking about the Orions yet because man I tell you those great mods here is like buying gold .... my opinion are based on what I see on the PI vaping market .....

China VV's cost from 60 usd to about 85 usd have't seen a vamo yet it may be under a different name here but the lowest is about 60 and that is a china vv which I don't really trust ( anything with circuitry )

Also one reason I started out with mechanical mod ..... there's just this thing I'm afraid of ( china made circuitry on my mouth with potentially explosive battery ) hehehehe......
