So you owning both, which would you recommend buying first? a mini or reg?

Making a "sure fire" recommendation wouldn't be the right thing. Both perform equally. The decision would have to be made based upon a matrix of needs and requirements. Essentially, it all comes down to size (like most things in life ;) ).

Full size with ext cap fits the hand the best....Fire button is at the correct postition while letting you grip the whole mod... I have owned 4 Provari's and 1 Mini....Get the full size V2.5 Satin Silver, ext. cap, with Green LED:D
I dont do the colored ones any more as the finish will develop small marks over time--no matter how much you baby them...

I've had a full size Provari for several months now. I used to take it everywhere, but there were times when I wished it was more pocketable and not so heavy (mostly when out and about shopping or running errands).

I got a Mini about three weeks ago, to use specifically when out and about. Lighter and more pocketable, but I still have that Provari consistancy in a smaller package.

It's true the regular with ext. cap fits my hands better (+1 firing button position), and I do have larger size hands. I'm glad I have both a regular size and a Mini so I can chose which one to the situation I will be in.

The 18650 battery can last me all day. The 18350's (700 mah AW) in the Mini only last me 5 - 6 hours which has been a minor disappointment, but I carry a couple spares with me in a pocket (in a plastic battery case, of course).

You not only answered that main question but also questions that were in the back of my mind. Like the Led color and a great reason to go with standard body color. Thank you very much!
