Wow, I didn't get down that far, what jerks.

Prior to reading that and just skimming through, I thought the overall tone was poor. though I've seen much worse and more misinformed. What made it interesting to me was that a national news org was covering the vape lounge type scene.

But yeah, that last bit is downright screwed up. I should have expected as much from NBC, they don't do all that well factually in many other areas either IMO.

Most of the article was pretty good- but they just couldn't resist putting the BS in at the end. sigh.

I like.

The flames theme for the website might need to be revised. It won't make much sense without the Apocalypse reference.
That's a very good point

ETA: well, I rethought that. The flames themselves could just serve to demonstrate how bad@$$ Deej is....

Just finished the 3 seasons of True Blood that are on Amazon Prime. Interesting. Very good acting. But I always have a real problem with "the heroine is a precious flower" theme. That one vampire tries to change his ways after meeting her I can accept. That two do, makes me nuts. (The only three characters I find especially interesting are Jessica, Sam and Eric.)

And I just typed "especially" with an x twice.

I love Jessica, and Pam in particular too! I do definitely like Sam too, and Lafayette can almost always crack me up. Eric I go back and forth on... :)

Just about all of the local mom & pop pizza / sandwich shops in the Philly area have the tagline "You've tried the rest, now try the best." or something similar on their pizza boxes & take out bags.

Dunno if I could get used to seeing that tagline without smelling oregano or garlic.

Image google "pizza box", it's pretty standard.

Ooops. I forgot about Lafayette. He's wonderful. Apparently, he died in the first book but they kept him alive on the series because the character was so popular.

The two characters that interest me the absolute least are Sookie and Bill *yawn*

Once I realized that Sam was in an ep of House, I had to go back and watch that in the middle of my marathon.
