It makes me laugh, we all complain in winter that it's too cold and we can't wait for summer, then in summer we complain how hot it is and we can't wait for winter...

It seems the problem with the human race is we're never happy with what we have... explains a few things really

My favorite weather is 40-75º F (4-24 Celsius.) While I don't like it when it gets down around 20º (-7), I'll always prefer that to when it gets over 90º (32). When it's that hot (especially if it's also humid) I just want to sit in front of the air conditioner or in the shower all day.

My problem is I like both extremes, love when it's less than 32f/0c because of snow and love it when it's over 90f/32c because beach...

it's the middle temps where I struggle but skating in the high teens centigrade to high 20's centigrade is the sweet spot for me so I guess I make the most of all weather

it's the 0c-10c that sucks the most in my opinion because it's too warm for snow, too cold to go outside... for me that's sit in front of the TV weather

That doesn't sound like a problem -- more like it is usually the weather you like.

There are no mountains near Melbourne, are there? So I assume the fondness for snow isn't for skiing.

yeah there's three main mountains near melbourne that get good snow for about 3 months of the year... snowboarding is my choice, never skiied
