Late-night security footage taken at one of Britain’s oldest pubs is spooking at least one staffer and the general public alike amid claims that a mysterious figure can be seen appearing on film.

Pub manager Tim Dooley, a self-proclaimed skeptic, said his opinion on the paranormal changed after he observed video taken in the middle of the night on Feb. 14, at the Ye Olde Man and Scythe, a bar in Bolton, U.K.

“I came down and saw a glass smashed on the floor so I was instantly suspicious and went to check the CCTV and found it has stopped working,” he told the Manchester Evening News.

When he examined the footage, he said he realized that the cameras had mysteriously stopped filming at 6:18 a.m.

And then, Dooley said, he found something that truly spooked him: the video appeared to show a flickering image emerge near the bar.

So the above picture was taken at an even celebrating 50 years of RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.) Tweets afterwards:

HughLaurie: I've had my anti-monarchist periods in the past, but I admit I was bowled over by the Queen. She is a very bright light.

StephenFry: @HughLaurie I think you brought out the best in her, M’coll. Especially when you licked her neck.

HughLaurie: @StephenFry Embarrassing, isn't it? One glass of champagne and suddenly I can't tell the difference between a stamp and the real thing.

Get your wifi working OK Poeia?

Haven't tackled it yet. I spent a couple of hours buying the kindle and a day and a half selecting a case.

I should do it now but I have to take a nap first.

Weirdly, the post office delivered the kindle yesterday, a holiday. I didn't find out until today because who checks their mail on a national holiday?

Good Afternoon Everybody,

I just thought I would take a brake from my House of Cards Marathon to stop in, say hi, and do a little review.

I decide to try Angel Food Cake for my last few days of marathoning and I like it.

Angel Food Cake:
Light and yummy. This liquid is more than just angel food cake, it has a nice lemon icing on top. In fact I get more of the icing flavor than the cake flavor. On the inhale I get a bit of the cake flavor followed by a lemon icing. It tastes like the kind of icing that you usually find on an Angel Food Cake. It is thin and not overly sweet with a nice lemon kicker to balance it out. To me it tastes almost like a lemon jello cream cheese frosting that my mom makes. On the exhale I get a bit more lemon as the sweetness dissipates. On the first puff of the newly filled carto it tasted a bit off, so I turned down my voltage and it was great after that. I usually vape 3.0 ohm cartos at 4.5-4.7 volts but for this one I am liking it at 4.0 volts. Anyway it is a nice lite, sweet, and lemony vape. I would say if you like Deej's Lemon Meringue Pie, you might like this as well. It is more toned down but would be great for the Spring and Summer when lighter vapes are more refreshing.

Share moment:

A coworkers client saw me vaping and had a chit chat about our adventures in trying to quit. I shared with him my experience here on the forum as well as ordering from deejstuff and wrote down the website for him. Sometimes all you need is a little positive reinforcement. I hope my word of mouth was a nudge in the right direction for him!

I always love these moments when I get to educate another person on vaping. Planting a seed of knowledge that can grow to strengthen another persons determination of quitting. Of course after you plant the seed it is up to them to either nurture it or let it fall to ruin.

I think that this determination is the most important factor in switching to vaping. It is still a change and people in general dislike change, especially changing a long term comfort like analogs. I think that people become more comfortable with change when they have the knowledge that helps them to strengthen that determination to the change.

In other words, that's awesome. I hope your knowledge helps him to quit. :)

And keep it up. The more people with knowledge of e-cigs, the less ignoramuses that we have that want to ban/smear them.
