Morning everyone.

Morning :)

I may have fallen for the hollywood "it's nothing but sun here in the US of A" portrayal

Here's hoping it warms soon for ya!

Hollywood is all sunshine. It's the northern part of the US that get really cold and snowy. Chicago and Buffalo, NY are known for their snowstorms (although this year there's been snow in the east as far south as Atlanta.) Fran doesn't live far south of Canada.

Did Wales get hit by the flooding that recently drowned so much of England?

Not so much Poeia, the whole peaks and valleys thing saved us really.

Thinking about making a change to the Flavor Games. Here's what the thoughts are:

1) need a way to "automatically" let folk know when their winnings have been shipped.
2) need a way to DRASTICALLY reduce the overhead in processing winnings.
3) would like a way to encourage sales (why hide it?)
4) would like to get winnings out faster... I hate when they hang around too long waiting for me to work them into the queue

So....

The basics of The Flavor Games will remain the same... but there are some changes. I'll still choose 12 flavors, and y'all will have to guess. That remains the same.

BUT!!

You're no longer locked into the winning flavors.

See, because the flavors aren't mixed yet, it makes no nevermind to me which flavors win. And I was thinking that since that's the case, why not open it up a bit.

Instead of sending you the Flavor mixed to your specification, I'll send you a Gift Code that will cover the cost of the 10ml bottle plus 1st class domestic postage. You can choose whatever flavor you want.

The advantage to me is that it gets the winnings into my normal order queue. That makes it WAY easier for me to keep a handle on things.

There are multiple advantages to you...

1) You'll get emails indicating when the order goes into the queue and as it transitions through the process.
2) You'll get Rewards Points that you can use in the future!!
3) You're not locked into a flavor.
4) If there's another flavor you'd like to try, add it to the order. The postage is already paid (because you won), so you're paying ONLY for the juice... not the shipping.
5) If you want a standard cap or a glass bottle or high-speed mixing, you can request that. Of course, there's a surcharge on the glass or the high-speed... but it'll be available to you!

In other news: Just sent out 57 packages ... all winners of various giveaways. We're trying really hard to get all caught up.

I like this idea and wish others would do this too. I have had a couple of wins and at both sites would have loved to have been able to just be able to plac an order and it be shipped with my prize.

Does this mean that those who enter should set up an account on the site before they start playing or will it matter?

Last week was the first time I had played and it was so much fun. I am really looking forward to the next one. Winning is good but I have just as much fun whether I win anything or not.

It won't matter. :)

What I'll do is send the Winner PM like normal, except instead of asking all the info it'll only ask for your name and email addy.

I'll email the Gift Codes out, and you can use your code right away or you can stack codes. The system will let you use more than one Gift Code in any given order.

Sounds fantastic. I started to PM you about consolidating the 4 I won to save on shipping and ask about buying some but I thought that would seem pushy . Your plan will work out fantastic for this type situation. Like you said it will be a good opportunity for people to order with free shipping . I want to take this opportunity to say thanks for holding the games weekly , it is very generous .
