To help promote sales, how about something like upping your winnings to 15ml size if accompanied by an order of other juice(s)? May be a little tricky to incorporate into your system, but it's a thought.

Regardless, being able to choose your own flavor is quite an incentive to participate in the games!

What I'll do is send the Winner PM like normal, except instead of asking all the info it'll only ask for your name and email addy.

I'll email the Gift Codes out, and you can use your code right away or you can stack codes. The system will let you use more than one Gift Code in any given order.

In other news, my last order "departed" Phoenix on March 8. Then nothing. I was ready to assume the black hole ate it. But just before I left this morning I checked the tracking and it arrived in BethPage (where else?) on March 12. Apparently it walked from Phoenix to Long Island. But it arrived today.

And Deej is out of 30 ml bottles.

Thinking about making a change to the Flavor Games. Here's what the thoughts are:

1) need a way to "automatically" let folk know when their winnings have been shipped.
2) need a way to DRASTICALLY reduce the overhead in processing winnings.
3) would like a way to encourage sales (why hide it?)
4) would like to get winnings out faster... I hate when they hang around too long waiting for me to work them into the queue

So....

The basics of The Flavor Games will remain the same... but there are some changes. I'll still choose 12 flavors, and y'all will have to guess. That remains the same.

BUT!!

You're no longer locked into the winning flavors.

See, because the flavors aren't mixed yet, it makes no nevermind to me which flavors win. And I was thinking that since that's the case, why not open it up a bit.

Instead of sending you the Flavor mixed to your specification, I'll send you a Gift Code that will cover the cost of the 10ml bottle plus 1st class domestic postage. You can choose whatever flavor you want.

The advantage to me is that it gets the winnings into my normal order queue. That makes it WAY easier for me to keep a handle on things.

There are multiple advantages to you...

1) You'll get emails indicating when the order goes into the queue and as it transitions through the process.
2) You'll get Rewards Points that you can use in the future!!
3) You're not locked into a flavor.
4) If there's another flavor you'd like to try, add it to the order. The postage is already paid (because you won), so you're paying ONLY for the juice... not the shipping.
5) If you want a standard cap or a glass bottle or high-speed mixing, you can request that. Of course, there's a surcharge on the glass or the high-speed... but it'll be available to you!

Another thought goes along with moving it to Saturday , which seemed to bring in a lot more players , would be a set start time .I could see where it may be rough though as you or your helpers may be unexpectedly tied up so maybe ( for example ) say the games will begin between 12 noon and 1 pm so people can plan for it and tell friends . Maybe post it in the contest tread a day or so a head of time each week . I like TravTech's idea of customers getting a larger size as it promotes a purchase before the game begins . Pick a length of time to go back say if you have ordered in the past 4 months ( again for example ) provide previous order number with reply to winner PM to receive a 5ml larger bottle but limit it to one per person per game ( win twice in one game get 1 normal size and one "upsized" ) . Just some thoughts to help bring more customers in , that being said I do have silly ideas sometimes .

There is a start time -- 1 pm Eastern. We tuckered poor SpartanStew out, doing most of the deleting on the master list himself (with OptimusPrimeRib helping when he wasn't busy running the game for Deej.) So Spartan has stepped down. I'm willing to do it but I can't do Wednesday before 8pm (and I don't function between 7am and noon any day.)
